Super fun tour! - We had an amazing time! Amir picked us up and drove us out to the kayaking area in his nice, clean car. Prince took us kayaking and showed us how to use the paddles and helped us get onto the water. He showed us the mangroves, gave us time to wander the purple island, offered drinks, and brought us over to the pink flamingoes. Afterward, we were provided with tea, coffee, and biscuits. One thing we didn’t realize is that we should have brought water shoes (or at least flip flops) - luckily there were shoes to borrow.

Fun thing to do in Qatar - Had an amazing driver extremely nice and friendly played good music to it was so much fun and one of my favorite things to do in Qatar! Our drivers name is Amir!

2 hours kayaking trip 4 hours with round-trip transfer - The kayak excursion with sunset was very nice. During photo shoots stopped and at the end let it end at the campfire. The pickup and return went great.

Beautiful Qatar - Today we did this tour. Hamad was awesome. He communicated with us to alleviate any concerns around pick up and then picked us up punctually from the hotel. He was friendly and kind and a wealth of information making the road trip to the kayaking site really interesting. He delivered us to Martin who “trained” us and guided us on the tour through the mangroves and to Purple island. How very lovely the tour was - birds, fish, crabs - lots of wildlife . Peaceful ++ Could forget the world existed briefly. And what a glorious sunset! It gave and gave. Then Hamad took us home, again with lots of information about Qatar. Nice and comfortable car and a really good trip. Five star plus - thank you :)

Enjoyable kayaking afternoon - We had a great time with Desert Rose Tourism. Fahood was our driver there, and was there at our accommodation 10mins early, which is good to see. The kayaking was good fun, my partner she had never kayaked before and she loved it, taking many photos enjoying the sunset. It did get a little crowded paddling through the mangroves, with some chaotic bumper car type action, but still all enjoyable fun.

Go at high tide / sunrise or sunset. - Great trip, although quite a long way from Doha for a relatively short canoe trip. However, guides were very nice, and the views at sunset unmissable! Lovely tea and shawarma at the camp after the canoeing. Driver also ver nice.

Fun kayaking but book during high tide for full experience - The kayaking was a lot of fun but we booked during low tide so we were unable to kayak through the mangroves which was the whole reason we booked the tour. The tour operators told us we could come back the next day at no cost but that didn’t work for our schedule which was disappointing. We were there at sunset which was beautiful and the tour guides helped us take some really amazing photos. We had never kayaked but did have experience canoeing and it was easy to pick up. We were a group of three and went in one single and one double kayak. The current was strong in one direction but we were absolutely fine. You get soaked from the waist down and may need to walk a distance to the kayak depending on the tide. Make sure you wear a swim suit under your clothes and/or bring a full change of clothes. You will need it! There are showers to use at the end to get the sand off. So, would definitely recommend just do your homework before booking so you get everything you expect from the experience.
