Amazing Morning Ride in Luxor - I was really happy to have found this place through a recommendation from my hotel. It was clear that the horses are well taken care of. The ride was fun and stunning at sunrise with the hot air balloons. My guide Mohammad took amazing photos and videos for me and gave me chances to ride faster if I wanted. An absolutely amazing time!

A very good time off the beaten track - A very good time across the countryside and on the edge of the desert. Guides are attentive to our safety and horse welfare. Go ahead without hesitation.

Would love to return to try more rides - My friend and I are visiting Luxor as volunteer veterinarians in a local charity animal hospital on the East Bank (Animal Care in Egypt). We visited Nobi’s stables as a recommendation from the charity for a ride through the village and farming / green areas of the West Bank and into the desert at the foot of the mountain near many beautiful monuments. The animals are incredibly well looked after here by an experienced team with Nobi and Jenny at the head, and our guide was a very experienced rider who was very friendly and welcoming to us. The horses were safe and they have a range of horses which are suitable for riders of all abilities. With some suitable for more experienced riders too! The facilities for the horses ensured they always had food and water and access to shade, as we came during a very hot period of the year. I would love to visit again during a cooler period and experience their sunset ride, camp in the mountains and the sunrise ride home to the stables!

Must do experience in Luxor! - I did the 3h sunrise tour. We rode through the sugar cane and banana fields, villages, a short part in the desert passing some monuments and temples and stopped at the balloon starting point to watch them rise. It was a magical experience and one of my favourites in Luxor. The horse was well behaved and in excellent healthy condition. My guide was super fun and took many photos and videos so I could concentrate on the surroundings. As I’m an advanced rider we included multiple gallop and trot sections. My husband can’t ride so he took the camel tour at the same time and we met multiple times inbetween. The horses live in groups on a big paddock with shade, food and water and are well taken care of and treated like family. They have multiple horses and camels and the stable and tours are operated by different members of the family. They also picked us up my motorboat directly from the hotel on the other side of the Nile. Communication went smoothly via WhatsApp. They also offer horse riding vacations! I’ll definitely come again and can recommend 100%!

A riding experience I won’t forget - After seeing some beautiful photos on he Facebook group “Between The Ears” and asking the lady where she’d ridden in the desert around hot air baloons she recommended Luxor Stables. I found them online and messaged Nobi the owner who was extremely fast to respond and helpful. We penciled in a solo ride for my upcoming trip to Luxor and the day before confirmed the details. I was picked up at 0400 on the bank of the Nile at my hotel and motored across the other bank where the gentleman walked me through the village to the stables. As a woman alone I was nervous at this, but knowing it was recommended to me put my mind at ease. My other worry was that my horse might not be large enough with me, but I had given my height and weight before booking and I was pleased to find my horse was a suitable height and build. Riding hats were insisted upon which I was very pleased to see. They seemed well maintained. My guide was very helpful and gave me tips on riding an Arab horse as I am used to English riding only and struggled initially to canter. He was very respectful of me not wanting to gallop or go too fast. The scenery was incredible. Really breathtaking. And the ride through village and fields was equally as wonderful. At the end of the ride I was offered to walk my horse to the stables and see where she lived. I appreciated this and was happy to see a herd of well conditioned horses living together with shade, water and forage. I fully recommend Luxor Stables.

Great riding in luxor - Nobi horse riding stables were amazing! Myself and a friend went out this morning for a private ride at sunrise. The guide Mohammed was very kind and helpful and took us around some beautiful sights! Both me and my friend are vets and were really impressed with the condition of the horses. Nobi showed us the stables and other horses and when we visited everything was in great condition and the horses were being looked after well. The trip was very fairly priced and a great morning in Luxor. I couldn’t recommend enough!

Great riding tour at dawn - We inquired on Instagram at very short notice about a 3-hour early morning horse riding tour and were not disappointed. The cost was fair, around 900 EGP per person. Our guide was very polite and calm, listened to our wishes and even took photos and videos of us. The scenery was simply wonderful, the green fields, the temples and the desert and the hot air balloons rising. My horse (Sharifa) was easy to handle and responded well. Pleasant trot and gallop - not too fast - just as discussed beforehand. The horses were both sure-footed and not at all skittish. My partner, who is a beginner rider, was also in very good hands with his horse. We felt very safe and comfortable and can highly recommend a horse riding tour with Luxor Stables! Thank you!

Amazing experience - We were reassured by regulars about the condition of the horses' care and we were not disappointed. They are in great shape! We had superb gallops through different magnificent landscapes at sunset :-) the guide was able to adapt to our 2 different levels. A wonderful romantic hike. I recommend !

Great and relaxing experience on the west bank - Briefly summarized why this activity should be number #1 in Luxor: - healthy and well-trained horses - no 'unexpected' extra costs - suitable for inexperienced and experienced riders - can be combined with a temple visit - actually rode for 4 hours with the horses - you see the real Luxor and walk past beautiful views of the temples and farmers' fields Booked this private tour together with my girlfriend. We are both inexperienced riders. In the morning we were picked up from our hotel (Hilton) at 4:20 by motorboat. At 5:00 we were on our horses and the 4-hour ride could begin. Before the tour starts you will receive a helmet and a cup of tea. Mando was an excellent guide who put us at ease. For me the highlight was the trotting and galloping parts on horseback. Quite scary for the first time, but only then do you experience the speed and power of a horse. Make sure you wear long pants to avoid any abrasions.

Wonderful way to experience Luxor - I would give Luxor Stables 10 stars if I could! The morning horseback tour was such a beautiful way to experience a quieter side of Luxor. The animals are obviously well-treated, the communication was excellent, and we felt really safe riding without much experience. I highly recommend this experience!
