Purchased in 2013, Hacienda Alsacia is a 240-hectare coffee farm in Costa Rica, focused on coffee, a global hub for research and development on various coffee-related topics. In addition to being a working farm for Starbucks, it’s now open to the public for the first time and becomes a place where visitors can experience sustainable coffee firsthand, including the agronomy work that Starbucks has been supporting and investing in for two decades.

• Poas Volcano National Park - For this full day tour, we will visit three incredible places that are completely unique to this area. As well as learning more about Costa Rican coffee, we will visit Poás Volcano, one of only five active volcanoes in the country.
• La Paz Waterfall Gardens - We will then see over 100 species including rescued sloths and hummingbirds in the La Paz Waterfall Gardens. This is my favourite trip in the San Jose area, providing you with a great combination of picturesque scenery and the chance to get up close to many species found in Costa Rica.
• San Jose - We will pick you up in San José, the capital of our country, picturesque and with emblematic buildings that we can observe as we pass by
• Poasito - Poasito is a village near the famous Poas Volcano, where people live off dairy farming, selling strawberries from the volcano, and you can observe the scenic beauty of this place high above our capital
