Such a great day trip! - This day trip was amazing! At first we did not know what to expect as it was a bigger group than we thought (13 people in total) but our tour guide was amazing! He really made the whole experience really enjoyable. The coffee farm was very interesting and we learnt a lot. The Poás volcano was sadly cloudy, but this happens very often, so although disappointing we did not let this ruin our day and just enjoyed the walk up there instead. The La Paz waterfalls and gardens were definitely so worth visiting. It was great seeing all the animals and the waterfalls! And of course, the breakfast and lunch were delicious too! All in all, the day was really packed with activities and fun, would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Enjoyable tour - This was a very enjoyable tour, and I would recommend that if you don’t speak Spanish to reach out via WhatsApp to confirm pickup times etc (I booked the tour via Expedia). The first stop of the tour is Doka coffee estate, where you get breakfast. After breakfast you get a tour of the facilities where the coffee processing is explained and its ends at the Doka souvenir shop. We the leave for the Poás volcano but driving through the plantation. On the way to the volcano we stopped at another souvenir shop and the prices there are good. We had about an hour at the Poas volcano, takes about 10 minutes to walk up to the volcano. Then we head to the La Paz falls, where you also get to see a lot of local wildlife, including hummingbirds and a sloth among others. We had lunch here before seeing the the waterfalls which are stunning (I would recommend bringing a poncho or raincoat for this section). Hernan the guide was excellent, I was the only one who didn’t speak much Spanish and he made sure to explain it all to me in English in addition to trenching me a few Spanish words. Overall a very enjoyable tour and great way to see sites around San Jose

An amazing tour! Wonderful sights! Great experience and hearty laughs! - First let me start off by saying, the tour guide had an amazing sense of humor that made the tour feel so personal and lively. He was extremely knowledgeable on every site we stopped at. He made sure to make everyone feel as though they were a part of the tour. This was an insightful tour that really brought us into the culture of Costa Rica. It was my friend's first time in Costa Rica and he learned so much and enjoyed every site from the waterfall, the coffee plantation and the national park. I highly recommend this tour even if you are a tico! Pura Vida!

The most amazing tour! Highly recommend - What an amazing day! Pick up was right on time, Mario was lovely to meet. Coffee plantation was beautiful and coffee and breakfast delicious. The volcano was amazing and we were so lucky to have clear weather. La Paz waterfall and gardens was also amazing and I didn’t realise how many animals they had there. The most beautiful gardens I think I have ever seen in my life. Buffet breakfast for lunch was good too. Shuttle was clean and air conditioned. Waterfalls amazing as always! Cannot fault this tour at all. Thankyou sooo much Mario! gracias!

Excellent tour - Even though the fog did not allow to see the crater of the volcano, the guide kept spirits up, united the group and explained details during the journey, in the places visited and gave detailed demonstrations of each situation. Widely recommended and more if your guide is charlton de Marbella tours.

Super fun tour - Greatly enjoyed this tour! I learned so much at the coffee plantation, enjoyed some cool fresh air up at the volcano, and then had a blast at the waterfall gardens. I really liked seeing the butterflies, and the waterfalls were incredible.

What a blast - The entire tour was fantastic. The best part was the water falls and all the stairs there. No a big deal and it was a blast.

They will not respond to you/ZERO stars if I could - Worse Tour Guide/Operator's I have ever dealt with. Do not book unless you want to get left behind; along with zero communication from them in regard to the tour. You will get zero response back as far as the pickup time/place, what to expect/bring, any little question you may have: forget about it. No direction whatsoever. They went even as far as to steal the money that I paid for this tour: To get picked up from my hotel lobby. Never showed up. Attempted to call them and the driver, again nothing. Not a single response or explanation. All I received was a $310 charge for nothing, with the email explaining that they tried to claim that it was a no show/cancelation on my part. Can't really speak on the tour, as they never showed up to pick up my partner and I. But horrible service all the way around. Definitely do not recommend this tour!!! There are plenty of other tours who literally do the exact same thing, and who will respond when a customer has a simple question; like what time should I expect to be picked up? (If at all)
