Great tour, great value - This tour is great. It is a good idea to be in good shape because there are stairs to climb and a moderate amount of walking. The tour guide is great and accommodating. A very good tour and a great value!

Great day trip! - It's a great day trip. We got picked up around 630 am and got dropped off at 330 pm at our hotel again. Started with Doka coffee farm and breakfast, then onto Poas volcano and then the Peace Waterfalls. Lunch was at the Peace Waterfalls resort and was sumptuous. The resort also has a wildlife display where we saw big cats, sloths, butterfly breeding. After lunch we began the hike to the falls. The hike is medium strenuous and not for folks who might have knee issues. Kids is fine. The whole path is paved with stairs but lots of them. Stunning views of the falls. Mario was our guide and he was great explaining everything and keeping the group moving.

Tour with Mario - Awesome tour! Bring rain jacket and warm clothes, very cold at elevation and rained a bit but still had a great time. Food was great as well. 🤙

First, our tour guide... - First, our tour guide Mario, was absolutely fantastic. I don't think I've ever had a tour guide as friendly and personable as Mario. That really makes a huge and very positive difference for the tour. The locations were also really beautiful. Especially the Cafe Doka stop with the gardens, animals, butterflys, and of course the waterfalls! We had clouds for the volcano and Mario said just wait a little, maybe it will change, and it did! What a treat. We had a really great time!

A great tour - Our guide was very good and considerate. We are older and walk more slowly than the others in the group. He was very good to us. The experience was a good one!

Great tour, not get transportation. - The locations were great with plenty of time in each to enjoy them. The only negative was the traveling to and from. The tour bus was 1 hour late which made us hit the worst traffic times. Other than the traveling, everything was awesome.

Good activities, disappointing communication - Let me start off by saying that the actual activities are amazing! Truly magical places. However, the experience itself was disappointing. we booked a tour in English but were the only English-speaking travelers in our group. Over 80% of the talking was done in Spanish with very minimal translation (highlights only). The group also spoke in the van (with the guide) the entire time in Spanish, making it impossible for us to join in on the conversation. Overall, unpleasant experience but we got to visit truly incredible places

Can not recommend, my... - Can not recommend, my advise is to take another tour. Was said to be picked up 6:29. 7:18 the tour guide arrived. No traffic so just bad planning and poor communication about this as well :/ Many stops at touristy places and we arrived at the volcano 11, to late to get a view of it. The tour guide was not a man in my liking. Did some weird jokes and talked about people in some cities being hippies, weird and bad people. You see the world through the lens of how you see yourself. Also one stop included 45 minutes in a zoo. That was said to be a rescue center but really it was not. Heart breaking. The food was good and the hike to the waterfall was wonderful! The ride to and from Poas was beautiful, the nature and all the flowers. Also the cloud forest in all the fog was nice :) If you fine with touristy things this will be a good tour and worth your time and money. If not I advise you to find an other tour! Pura Vida!

Just ok - Nothing really memorable. Falls were nice. Too many stops and too much time spent in tourist retail shops.

Cancelled at short notice - I'd love to review but at 9pm the night before they texted me to say it was cancelled. When I contacted them, they said it wasn't cancelled, they were just offering me a different date or a different tour - both totally unsuitable.
