• Tenorio Volcano National Park - A wonderful way to immerse oneself in the culture of Costa Rica is by engaging in the daily life of a local farmer.

This farm tour offers the chance to experience the daily routine of Don Luis Varela. Alongside him and his family, visitors can learn about many of the customs passed down from their ancestors, which are now integral to their everyday life.

Originally hailing from San Ramon de Alajuela, Don Luis relocated to the Rio Celeste area over 30 years ago. Since then, he has diligently worked his land, cultivating crops and producing most of the goods consumed in his household.

During the tour, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the essential and most significant crops grown on most Costa Rican farms, which are staples in their daily diet.

At the conclusion of the visit to La Granja, guests can enjoy a delightful lunch or dinner and share a meal with the family.
