MUST DO, 100% - Please do this excursion! We had the most breath-taking views and experience with David! It was just our family of four (2.5mo old baby and 2.5yo toddler) due to the slow season but we had one-on-one time. The surprise he has on the way down was SO much fun and the river spot is so majestic. David is the sweetest person and was really helpful as we juggled our babies while trying to have a great time too. The horses were so funny and we felt safe with our babies, they know what they are doing and know the trails already. Would highly recommend you do this tour. I would have loved to try the restaurant his family has but with the slow season, it was only open on the weekends (we went on a Friday). The town people are so nice too and all recognized David as we walked rode through the grounds. SO GLAD we had the opportunity to do this tour.

Just wonderful experience - Can we give it 10 stars? It was a very memorable experience for me, my wife, my mother-in-law, and the children. David took care of us from beginning to end. We were even a few minutes late because of a parade happening in the small town nearby. The restaurant there is absolutely amazing; take time to hang around the restaurant and villas at the end of the tour, it is really beautiful. It was truly an amazing experience, and we will be back. - horses were so well behaved - special treat from David on the tour is really fun - David is hilarious - swimming spot was breathtaking

Must-go experience! - Did this tour with David himself and it was so great. We went horseback riding and ended up in the most beautiful part of the river I’ve seen yet where we were able to swim for an hour or so. The horses were very gentle and beginner friendly. This tour is an absolute must if you are visiting Rio Celeste!

Enjoy the serenity of Rio Celeste with horseback riding - David is a great guide! The horseback riding was wonderful. It was very peaceful to see the surrounding area. Also Rio Celeste is amazing and this was a great tour to be able to experience both horseback riding and the river. Swimming in Rio Celeste was a priceless memory I get to have for the rest of my life. I highly recommend taking this tour if you're looking to visit Rio Celeste. There's a surprise in the tour as well that I won't spoil for you. But I will say it was a lot of fun.

Best tour we did! - We did many things in the area but this one was absolutely amazing! Most tours for rio Celeste are hours of hiking and we loved that this one was different. David was fun, cheerful and very helpful. We got there a little early and enjoyed the butterflies everywhere while having a quick breakfast, which was very good. Then we rode the horses in areas other tourists don’t go so it was very nice to have the views all to ourselves. Once to the river David helped us get in and swim for a bit and even jumped in with us. He even took multiple photos for us. It was an excellent tour and we’re thankful we chose this one. Amazing memories, thank you!

Horseback riding to swim Rio Celeste - Of all of the activities we did around Lake Arenal this excursion was one of my family’s favorites! David was an excellent guide and made the hour and a half trip from La Fortuna worth it. We made great memories and highly recommend!
