Do Not Hesitate to Spend a Day with Matteo! - We had an absolutely amazing time with Matteo!!! He was born and raised in the area, but has traveled extensively and has a huge knowledge of wine and food. He genuinely loves what he does and his knowledge of wine is enormous -but, by his own admission, he loves to keep learning. We had initially requested Barbaresco, but as the Tour De France was going through, ended up in Barolo. No issue for us with that! We went to three fabulous vineyards, learned so much, drank fantastic wines, had the BEST lunch at a local restaurant in La Morra we probably would not have found ourselves and just had an overall awesome day. Highly, highly recommend Matteo. We want to go back in October for truffle season and will not hesitate to book with him again.

Wonderful wine tour with Matteo! - My husband and I had a wonderful day with Matteo visiting 3 wineries. Matteo selected these wineries based on our request to taste Barolo wines and we were thrilled with the choices he made. At each winery we had multile sampling of different Barolo wines and we were very happy with all of them. We bought some wines to be shipped and Matteo guided us with the process. Matteo is very knowledgeable of the wines and the region. It was a great tour and we highly recommend Matteo to anyone who is interested in doing a wine tour!

Wonderful Day Wine Tasting - Had the most amazing day visiting some truly special wineries selected by our guide Matteo, who was terrific. We had based ourselves in Turin, so travelled to/from Turin to Asti by train, which was really easy to do and took about 40. Minutes, but we wished we had stayed a few nights in the region of Alba/Asti to experience the area some more as it was beautiful. Matteo our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable and helpful, the whole day was impeccably planned and his choice of restaurant was perfect. Every winery welcomed us with open arms to share their passion, knowledge and wine - which was some of the best we have ever tasted. Highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic wine tour - This was a highlight of our trip to Italy. Highly recommended! We had an amazing day of visiting wineries and exploring new wines with Matteo. He customized our trip according to our interests and picked an interesting mix of wineries to visit. He was very knowledgeable and also very pleasant to be with. We had a great time and also learned a lot.

Best wine tour - Matteo was knowledgeable about the area and wine production. He was an excellent tour guide and set up interesting tastings for my family and a lovely lunch as well. We saw beautiful things, learned a lot about wine, and enjoyed his company as well. Can't recommend enough!!

Top Notch Experience - My spouse and I spent a great day with Matteo doing tastings at several wineries this past December. Matteo speaks great English, drives a nice clean car, is friendly, and also very knowledgeable about the region and food. We were able to go to wineries that we wouldn't have been able to just show up to, and we had great private tastings at each one. He also answered several of my questions in advance of the trip about the area and possible accommodations which was greatly appreciated. Matteo managed to get us a lunch reservation at a very difficult to get into restaurant that was fantastic. It didn't hurt that it was white truffle season! We collected 12 bottles of wine during the day, and Matteo brought us to the wine shipper for shipment back to the US (wine arrived about weeks later). If you're at all on the fence about doing a tour with Matteo, my recommendation is just do it, you'll have a very memorable day!

Best wine guide in Piedmont - Matteo is so knowledgeable about the region, wine, and fine dining. He is a pleasure to spend the day with and makes sure the customers satisfaction is always top of mind. I wish we could have booked him all week!

10 out of 10 Day in Piedmont! - Matteo was an absolutely incredible wine guide. His knowledge of Piedmont and all of the vineyards & wineries was beyond impressive. He gave us 3 different/distinct experiences (added one on the spot, after getting to know us a bit) and we felt as if the day was truly tailor-made for us, based on what our interests were. He had great relationships everywhere we went so we felt like true VIP’s. He also picked a spectacular lunch spot for us - another gem we would not have found on our own. A “10 out of 10” day for which we are extremely grateful!

Matteo giving us a wonderful wine tour - Matteo is a wonderful and knowledgeable guide leading us to a very enjoyable wine tour. The two wineries in Barolo are displaying different concepts in producing their Barolo, Nebbiolo and Babera d'Alba wines showing different characters. The restaurant he chose for us was absolutely fine and of good quality. With the Babaresco tour as an ending, we considered the tour as perfect and unforgettable.

Misleading wine tour advertisement to Barolo - The ad was misleading. It mentioned we will visit 2 wineries and will get to taste Barolo wines, which we were looking very much forward to. But we visited only 1 winery and did not taste Barolo wines. We spent more than 2 hours in 1 winery and tasted at least 7 wines which to our opinion did not measure up. I was told by the guide that theirMIs wines are on par with Barolo but we disagreed. All 5 of us felt short-changed and will never sign up with this young tour company again!
