Excellent tour of artisanal wineries - Super tour. The three artisanal wineries we visited showed excellent wines and the winemakers gave us a fascinating insight into how the wines are produced. We got a good idea of the landscape of this part of Piedmont and Giovanni explained the differences between the areas very well. Giovanni was a brilliant tour guide.

Excellent Experience - We had a great experience with Meet Piemonte! Our guide was a local farmer and winemaker who gave us a truly unique and wonderful experience. First he took us to a hill to show us the region, then to 3 wineries that were all family-owned, and a lunch spot with gorgeous views. It was the highlight of our trip to Italy! I would recommend it to anyone!

Amazing wine and food experience - If you're really looking to experience the food and wine of Piedmont, Meet Piedmont will make it happen for you. We spent 5 days in Piedmont, and Meet Piedmont helped us set up wine tours, cheese tasting, a cooking class, and even our hotel and transportation (including airport pickup in Milan). The wine tours are fantastic. We did one for the Langhe region (the Barolog and Barbaresco tour), and one specifically for Barbera. On both occasions, the guide was informative and helpful, and the wines were lovely. The cooking class with Fernanda was probably the highlight of our entire Italian stay. She brings you into her home and does a great job teaching how to make traditional recipes, and then you get to eat a delicious lunch of all the food you made. There's a lot to do and see for food and wine in Piedmont, but Meet Piedmont makes the whole process simple. Tell them what you're interested in, and they will present you with some great options. We're thankful we got to work with them--it made our stay in Piedmont exactly what we wanted it to be.

Barolo with Marco - Marco is the best. The tour was Bellissimo. So much great detail from somebody who knows all the intricacies. With seven generations in the same family his winery was exemplary. We will be back!

An Experience to be Remembered!!! - This tour exceeded our expectations! We had a wonderful time. Our guide Giovanni is very knowledgeable about the wine business since he is a winemaker himself. He’s also very personable and fun to be with. We started the tour by visiting "Fratelli Ravello", a winery near La Morra in the Barolo region. Elena Fratelli, who works in the winery with her parents and brother, showed us the property and directed us on a very nice tasting of their most iconic wines. Then Giovanni recommended a very nice restaurant in the area, where we had the local specialties. We loved the Plin, a pasta dish of small ravioli. Next, we visited "La Ganghija", the winery owned by Enzo Rapalino in the Barbaresco area. Enzo's family had owned vineyards for many years, but he is the first one that decided to make wine. He is also introducing some innovations in the process. It was nice to hear about his passion for making a top product. The last stop was "Cascina Galarin", the winery owned by Giovanni and his family. They specialize in Barbera D'Asti. What a treat it was to have a taste of those fabulous wines! This tour was a wonderful experience that we will remember for many years to come. We wholeheartedly recommend it!

A great experience! - This is a review of "Truffle hunt and Barolo wine tasting", which is organized by the same tour conductor Meet Piemonte instead of "Barolo and Barbaresco wine tour", because of less tourists on that day. The tour coordinator Marco well organized the tour. Thank you Marco! Truffle hunt was amazing. a truffle hunter Giovanni and his hunter dog Max found some black truffles in a forest. It was a tougher work than I expected. The collaboration between an experienced human and a trained dog enables to find truffles. Wine tasting at a winery in Barolo area was also stunning. The vineyard of the winery was beautiful. We tasted 4 red wines: Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Asti, and two Barolos. All of them were really nice. Totally I had a really calm and precious time thought the tour.

Didn’t show up - Currently waiting for a pick up which should have happened 40 minutes ago. Any get hold of the company and nobody has picked us after we’ve paid c.£400 for a wine tour and were at the pick up about 30 minutes early. There is no way to contact the company on a weekend as their office w is not open so now we have no wine tour when this was the main activity we came here to do and probably won’t be able to rearrange one today.
