Embark on the ‘Dutch Apple II’ for a journey of 90 minutes on the Hudson River. A narrative of the Hudson River is provided during the journey, recounting historical trivia and intriguing facts about the history of Albany and the regions nearby. Carry binoculars to view eagles or simply relax and appreciate the scenic views and historical residences along the river. Boarding commences 30 minutes before departure. Cruises are punctual - ensure you don’t miss the voyage!

A Good, Brief Cruise - Dutch Apple Cruises was exactly as advertised. My wife and I did the 1pm - 2:30pm cruise and were pleasantly surprised that they went north on the Hudson River for a brief look at what's up in that part of Albany before heading south, which is what we were expecting. Get on board early if you want to sit, don't be surprised by the food & drink prices (cold water is FREE!) and the narration over the loudspeaker regarding the history & interesting stuff you're passing is informative. Oh yeah, we actually did see 3 bald eagles! (they're in the trees - keep a sharp lookout for their white heads)

Classmate Cruise!! - I was thrilled to meet many of my high school classmates on this beautiful cruise! What made it extra special is that Captain Frank is one of our own, from Schenectady’s Mont Pleasant High School, Class of 1967!! We are so proud of our Captain! He kept everything running smoothly and the narrator was very informative. Scenery beautiful. Can’t wait to go again next time I am in upstate NY!!

Fresh Air and Fun - My wife and I really enjoyed the ride down the Hudson! The weather was perfect and the narration was surprisingly informative as we sailed. While we didn't avail ourselves of the onboard food and drink, we were quite surprised to see waitstaff taking and delivering orders. All in all, it was a wonderful experience!

Good time for family - I thought this was a great way to spend a couple of hours with my kids. The boat was very clean and not too crowded, our guide was very knowledgeable and the trip was quite lovely. We had a really good time.

Highly Recommend 90 Minute Cruise. - The crew was very friendly and helpful. The narration provided was highly informative. In addition, the food and drinks offered for sale had plenty of choices and provided my wife and I with a nice light lunch.

Lovely day in Albany - Excellent review by Nancy. Very informative. Learned so much about Albany. Availability of drinks and snacks was also very nice.
One suggestion - please train your employees to say “your” instead of “youguyes” (as in enjoy your day NOT enjoy youguyes day). it is not a real word.

Hudson River Time! - This was a very relaxing cruise up and down the Hudson. Peter was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. The staff was quite friendly and accommodating. We had a good group of sightseers and plenty room to move about.
You were waited on quickly and the food and drink were superb! Serena kept a watchful eye out when we needed more refreshments. Frank the Captain invited some youngsters to guide the ship. From the time you entered the ship and up to departure, it was delightful.
