Amazing!!!!!!! - This tour was amazing!!! Vito was so knowledgeable and informative. The three of us enjoyed not only the beautiful towns we visited but also Vito’s incredible sense of humour and deep knowledge of the Puglia region. I learned so much!!!!! Vito was prompt, so kind and a terrific tour guide! I cannot wait to return and do another tour with him! I would highly recommend using Vito for any tour in the Puglia area. He even knew the shopkeepers and helped us with our souvenir purchases. You will not only get a great history lesson but have a great time as well. Thank you Vito for everything…,… keep smiling 😊 Ps if I could I would choose 10 stars!!!!!

Very Good Tour - Very good tour. We were a group of 4 and it was kind of a private tour. The 3 places we visited were beautiful. We had enough time to browse stores and buy things. The lunch stop was very good. Alberobello was amazing! The only reason I am not giving a "5 Star Rating" is because the driver, also the Tour Guide, was quite aggressive driving and one person in our group was uncomfortable. Otherwise, I do recommend the tour.

Nice tour. - We loved all three stops with Ostuni being our favorite. It would have been nice to have more time there. Alberobello was unique and worth the afternoon stroll. I think it was overpriced.

Picturesque but harrowing - Getting a true feel of Puglia was the best part. Our guide was aloof and not especially forthcoming with vital information about the areas. He seemed to deposit us at or near vendors he knew. I had to close my eyes to avoid seeing all the horrible driving of our guide, Vitto

It’s good that is a... - It’s good that is a private tour with not so many people but the tour guide is not nice, I would have liked someone that is not mad because we requested a tour in Spanish. If you don’t like the language don’t offer it

Leaves much to be desired - We booked this tour on a Saturday via Viator, we were 4 people in all - 2 Americans and ourselves who knew both English and Italian. Vito met us at 9.30am sharp in front of the San Nicola statue and off we went (I'm only going into these logistical details because he has this irritating habit of denying negative reviews whenever it doesn't suit him - wanna bet he'll do it on this review as well?). So far so good, trip was ok and comfortable but unfortunately from then on it went downhill. Since the booking included "tour guide services" I expected a bit more information about the three cities we visited not just a chaffeur service, but information was VERY sparse, using very poor English (poor pronunciation, poor grammar). At times he repeated the same (questionable) things, just to fill time and to give us the false impression that he's giving out a lot of information. Whenever we asked a question his replies were very telegraphic - good thing I know Italian as it was the only way to prompt him to beef up the info. Another item which featured in the booking was "Opt to stop for a traditional Puglian lunch (own expense)" - this was simply impossible - he seemed so concerned about rushing us that we barely had time to do the tastings ("tastings" sounds like a big word, but it was just some bread dipped in local olive oil in Ostuni and some wines and liquors in Alberobello, that's it), let alone having lunch. He made absolutely sure we wouldn't go beyond the allotted time, seemed unmotivated and gave me the impression that he'd rather be somewhere else, all throughout. At the end of the tour, he drove like a mad man back to Bari, overtaking cars (and almost feeling proud about his "Italian" driving), telling us stories and anecdotes about his life and kept harping till kingdom come how the "Italian" and the "Mediterranean" way of life is better than anywhere in the world (like, give me a break...).

Do not recommend - Do not recommend this tour. The car was dirty inside and out and smelled of smoke. The guide was not knowledgeable about what we were seeing.
