• I Trulli di Alberobello - World Heritage Site - The driver will drop you off right in the center of Alberobello. • Rione Aia Piccola - The audio guide will lead you to AIA Piccola, a serene and mostly residential neighborhood. It’s filled with picturesque spots and historic churches.
• Rione Monti Neighbourhood - The audio guide will take you to the liveliest district of Alberobello. Here, you’ll find numerous restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops. The guide will share the history of the district and highlight all the attractions.
• Chiesa Santi Cosma e Damiano - The audio guide will delve into the origins and history of this church, explaining why it holds such significance for the people of Alberobello.
• Museo del Territorio “Casa Pezzolla” - The audio guide will take you to the Territory Museum, “Casa Pezzolla.” As you explore the museum, you’ll learn about the city’s historical journey, its main agricultural activities, architectural techniques, and the daily life of past inhabitants of Alberobello.
• Trullo Siamese - Located at the top of Via Monte Nero, this unique trullo is built on outcropping rock and surrounded by a buttress with raw foundations made of boulders. It’s likely one of the oldest in Alberobello, distinguished by its double-cone roof. The recess between the two cones appears continuous from the outside because it was filled in by the master trullaro who constructed it.
• Trullo Sovrano - The audio guide will narrate the history and origins of the only trullo in Alberobello that spans two floors. With a 14-meter high dome, the triangular pediment of the façade extends to the first floor, accessible via a staircase ingeniously built into one of the load-bearing walls. Declared a national monument in 1923. Entrance fee: €2
• Locorotondo - After our time in Alberobello, the driver will take us to Locorotondo.
• Chiesa Madre San Giorgio - The audio guide will explore the origins of this church. According to a popular tale from the late 18th century, the original place of worship for Locorotondo’s inhabitants may have been built on the site of a pagan temple.
• Chiesa di San Nicola - The audio guide will lead you to this historic, simple, and charming church.
• Chiesa della Madonna della Greca - The oldest church in Locorotondo, built on the site of a cave that housed an image of the Madonna. Traces of the original structure, incorporated into the 15th-century building, can still be seen today.
• Palazzo Morelli - The audio guide will point out this magnificent building as you approach its lavishly decorated portal, featuring the family coat of arms and an auspicious mask.
• Ostuni - After exploring Locorotondo and its architectural treasures, the driver will take you to the final stop of the tour: Ostuni.
• Piazza della Liberta - The driver will drop you off in the heart of Ostuni, known as the white city of Puglia: Piazza della Libertà. This main square is home to Palazzo San Francesco, a 19th-century renovation of a former 14th-century Franciscan convent, now the Town Hall. At the end of Piazza della Libertà stands the Obelisk of Sant’Oronzo, sculpted in the 18th century.
