- Lochnagar Crater - The “Lochnagar crater” is the result of the explosion of the largest mine that took place on the first day of the Battle of the Somme. “At 30 meters deep and 90 meters wide, it is one of the most most impressive of the Somme Your guide will explain the beginning of the battle.
