A four hour history lesson, not easily forgotten. - It was pouring with rain but I found that it was just the right background on which to visit these sad locations. the rain and mud made it a bit easier to imagine the plight of all the young boys who lived – or didn't – through that horrible ordeal. Our guide, Brigitte De Cuyper, was lovely, very kind, enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

A rainy day on the Somme - We really enjoyed our tour of the Somme battlefield with John our guide. He was very informative and knowledgeable about history of the area. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone with an interest in history and we would definitely do it again ( hopefully with better weather)

Excellent guide and fantastic experience for danes and others - Highly recommendable - We were so fortunate to have booket a guidet half-dag tour with Brigitte as our guide. Brigitte is a local and she is extremely knowlegdeable about the battles of Somme and the area in with it played out. She was a fantastic guide and prior to our visit she had studied the involvement of Danish soldiers in the war, giving us a unique view into the history of Denmark in the war and specifically the Battle of Somme. This was greatly appreciated. Brigitte has excellent english language skills, making it very easy to understand her and she is highly recommendable as you guide in Somme. She is very entusiastic and knowlegdeable making her and her guided tour an mandatory must when visiting the area.

Awesome made better with an awesome tour guide - Bridgette - This was an amazing experience, particularly because of our tour guide Bridgette. She was absolutely fantastic. We have done many many tours and Bridgette was by far the best we have encountered. Very enthusiastic and accommodating. She made this fantastic tour that much more enjoyable and memorable. Bridgette was so honoured and enthusiastic that we were from Newfoundland. A great tour, made better by an awesome tour guide. Thanks Bridgette.
