Great value and v interesting - Very well organised and interesting museum set in a long underground air raid shelter. Good exhibitions and I liked the accompanying app too. Well worth the admission fee.

Museum not to be missed on the Great War - The scenography is impressive in a tunnel dug in the Middle Ages like Naours and subsequently used during the Second World War as shelters for the inhabitants. We follow the progress of the Battle of the Somme of 1916 and the fate of French soldiers but especially British, Australian, Canadian, South African etc. This museum moved me a lot and taught me a lot. He made me want to visit the different memorials in the area. The smartphone application that allows us to extend the experience once we return home is very well made.

Thought provoking place, recommended - Fantastic place, really friendly and welcoming staff. Let us park our motorbikes right outside the door. I'm always wary of saying I"enjoyed" a museum about such a dark time in history but it is a fantastic place to visit. Lots to see and lots to make you think. Its also a beautiful town.

Thoughtful and Reflective Day - A must visit if you are planning a Battlefield tour, staff spoke really good English and all the information boards are in French and English. We booked a tour to various battlefield sites through the museum the guide was great and passed on his knowledge of events expertly. Value for money is second to none full recommend this.

Particularly underground - Nice museum underground, good to learn more about ww1 and how many people have died in a massive and often senseless way.

Nice and clear overview of the war talks on the Somme - Museum about the battle of the Somme, set up in the shelter realized in the 2nd world war. Clear - multilingual - information about the course of the war based on the different nationalities that participated. For me, for example, a new insight into the participation of China. Recommended (if you are in the area).

Educational and impressive - Impressive and beautifully designed museum. You can download an app that gives you more information as you walk through the underground passages. Since the Netherlands was neutral during WW1, unfortunately little is told in the history books at school. This museum is very educational and quiet.
