A nice tour with a great guide - I booked both tours to Eastern Algarve and the historical tour to Western Algarve with Alsafari Tours. The company is very accommodating. They pick you up from your hotel even if it's not in the list of pickup stops and could leave you at the railway station or bus station in Albufeira if you want.
Both times I was lucky to have Rui as a guide. He was a wonderful driver, who, being a local, knew the shortcuts well. He also shared a lot of information about Portuguese history, flora and everyday life which made also driving time in the bus enjoyable and entertaining.
The tour to eastern Algarve included stops in Faro, Olhao where we had lunch, Tavira and Cacela Velha. The tour wasn't rushed and we had enough free time in all the places. We were back to Albufeira around 5.30 pm.
I wholeheartedly recommend this company and the tour which is a nice way to see parts of Eastern Algarve.

A fabulous day out to experience some of the history and sights of the Algarve. - Benny was a very knowledgeable guide and explained everything clearly. The cathedral in Faro was stunning and Tavira was a gorgeous old town with its castle and garden. Olhão had beautiful little side streets and Cacela Velha was a stunning little coastal village with beautiful views.

Excellent and enjoyable tour - Excellent tour of 4 towns/villages with plenty of free time in each place. Tavira was especially nice with a 2 hour stop for lunch and sightseeing with excellent recommendations from the tour guide Benny who made it an interesting, informative and enjoyable trip. The tour was a small group of 4 in a minibus which arrived on time at the pre-arranged pick up point. i would certainly recommend this tour.

Excellent day tour-reasonable price - We found this trip outstanding. We were picked up on time at our hotel. The 8 seater vehicle was clean, comfortable and fully air conditioned. Our tour guide (Rui) spoke excellent English. His knowledge was outstanding and he gave us lots of interesting information as we travelled from place to place. We were not in the least rushed, having plenty of time in each location to explore, get a bite to eat, or enjoy a leisurely coffee. We would highly recommend both the company & the tour guide.

A full day trip and plenty to see - Excellent full day trip. We were picked up from our hotel on time and the guide was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We visited four towns and had plenty of time to wander in each. The minibus was comfortable.

Full day tour of 4 places of the Algarve - Really enjoyed our day touring different parts of the Algarve and hearing about the history! Definitely recommend and tour guide was great.

Eastern Algarve - Our guide Mario was a 5 star guide very informational
Unfortunately it was a holiday on the day that we went and there was not much going on in Faro so that is why I give it a 4 star- I think the tour would have been more enjoyable with more to see so disappointing. Through no fault of Alsafari or the guide.
I would now double check if there is a holiday going on on the day of the tour before booking just to be sure you get to see more, otherwise it can be a waste of time for a whole day. It was a long day to travel without seeing a lot - again not the guide fault.

Great day out - A very interesting tour our guide Mario was very knowledgeable. It was nice to have free time to explore each stop and it was nice to see different towns. Coach was comfortable and cool. A good day out.
