  • R. Oliveira Martins 105 - Enjoy practicing breath work to increase the capacity of the lungs & a dynamic & meditative Vinyasa Flow class ( 1 hour 15 minutes). We will practice some mindful movement to help strengthen the body & stretch our muscles, helping to dissolve physical & mental tension in body & mind. Immersed in nature, enjoy the peaceful sounds of the waves, birds & trees & stunning views of the cliffs & sea. This really helps to find more mental clarity & to reduce the fluctuations in the mind.

After our yoga practice we will enjoy some time to chill, chat & connect with some cleansing ginger tea or 2 glasses of vino & time to ask any questions you may have. I also share my recommendation of the best place to go for a nice meal.

After your experience is finished, we recommend bringing your swimwear & cooling off & dipping your toes in the nearby beach which is only 2 minutes walk away or you can enjoy your lunch in some of the nearby cafes & restaurants.

It’s truly remarkable how the sound of the ocean helps to calm and quiet the mind’s fluctuations.

Your instructor, Sophie, is a 500-hour RYT yoga teacher with over a decade of experience and a deep passion for sharing the practice and benefits of yoga. She will also offer tips on reducing mental fluctuations and calming the nervous system through yoga philosophy and the 8 Limbs of Yoga. Additionally, you will learn to increase your lung capacity through Pranayama, or breathing techniques.

After our practice, we’ll have time to chat, relax, and connect while enjoying a cup of ginger tea, a refreshing drink, sparkling water, or up to two glasses of wine. We hope you can join us for this inspiring experience.

We meet at the board walk (up on the cliff) on the very left side of Praia da oura opposite Muthu Hotel. The class takes place on the wooden beach deck overlooking the beach & cliffs.

Wonderful relaxing experience - A wonderful relaxing session! Sophie was super friendly and the beach boardwalk location was perfect. I'd highly recommend if you're staying at one of the local MGM hotels, as the boardwalk is a 2 mins walk from the hotel (E block). Definitely beginner friendly if you've never tried yoga before, but also great for yoga regulars. Thanks once again Sophie for a lovely morning!

Great but be careful - Beautiful experience!! Yoga at 6am was really good. Sophie was really super nice and professional. I give 3 stars only because having booked a slot at 6am caused us trouble because of drunk people coming out of the nightclub right next door. Some guy peed next to us and they really bothered us. Luckily Sophie managed the situation! She offered to change places to do yoga (200m away) after that it went great. Thanks again, Sophie. Great experience, my girlfriend loved her birthday present 🙏🏻
