- Albuquerque Old Town - Welcome to historic Old Town Albuquerque! It’s amazing to think that this entire city, now so vast, began in just a 10-block area filled with adobe buildings. While we’re only passing through, this neighborhood is rich with history and ghostly tales.
- 2111 Church St NW - This beautiful building is one of the oldest in Albuquerque and in all of New Mexico. While we’re just passing by, it’s worth noting that it was occupied by the same family for over 200 years!
- San Felipe de Neri Church - This church has been a prominent place of worship in Albuquerque since 1706. Initially named St. Francis Xavier, it was later changed to St. Philip Neri, or “Felipe” in Spanish.
- Covered Wagon - As we walk past the Covered Wagon, built in 1880 by Manuel Springer, it’s interesting to note that he originally opened a saloon called The Mint. The Mint, along with several other saloons, operated freely in Old Town for decades.
- Mansion owned by Johnny Depp - Even though this house was built in the early 1900s, the history of the property—and its ghosts—dates back much further. While we’re only passing by, it’s intriguing to think about the stories it holds.
- Bottger Mansion of Old Town - The Bottger Mansion is the only place to stay in Old Town. Although the house was built in the early 1900s, the property’s history and its ghosts go back much further. In the 1700s, a 40-room adobe house stood on this site. We’re just passing by, but the stories here are fascinating.
- Chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe - Many Albuquerque locals are unaware of this chapel’s existence, as it is tucked away in a beautiful plaza. It’s a newer addition compared to the other, much older places of worship. While we’re only passing by, it’s a charming and lesser-known spot.
