• Ancient Roman Amphitheater - An expert tour guide will pick you up at 7:00 am from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza and take you to Alexandria, which is 220 km from Cairo. You’ll arrive in Alexandria around 10 am and begin your tour with a visit to the Roman Theater, featuring marble seats for up to 800 spectators, galleries, sections of mosaic flooring, and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman villas and baths.
• Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - Next, you’ll visit the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, one of the largest Roman burial sites in the world and a popular attraction in Alexandria. Be cautious as you descend into a network of underground passages, tombs, and antechambers via a spiral staircase leading to a three-level tombstone and a large Roman-style banquet room where memorial meals were traditionally held. Inside, you’ll find 2nd-century statues of Sobek and Anubis dressed in Roman armor.
• Bibliotheca Alexandria - The tour continues with a visit to the Alexandria Library. Inspired by the original great library of Alexandria, this modern library was built between 1995 and 2002 to hold over eight million books. It’s an impressive tribute to the ancient splendor of Alexandria. Take your time to explore!
• Kayetbai - Enjoy photo stops at Qaitbay Citadel and Al Mursi Abu Alabbas mosque, where you can take a leisurely walk along the Cornish.
