Drive along the Corniche to see the entire city, passing landmarks such as the Stanley Bridge, the Unknown Soldier Memorial, and the statue of Alexander the Great. Your first stop in this historic city is the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, the largest Roman cemetery, consisting of three levels carved into the rock from the 1st or 2nd century.
Pompey’s Pillar - Next, visit Pompey’s Pillar, a 26.85-meter tall granite column built to honor Emperor Diocletian.
