• Alexandria - At 6, 7, 8, or 9 am, we begin your tour of Alexandria, Egypt’s second-largest city and its capital for nearly a thousand years. Founded by Alexander the Great, Alexandria boasts a Mediterranean atmosphere and is renowned for its Roman ruins. We’ll drive along the Corniche to see the entire city, passing landmarks such as the Stanley Bridge, the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria, and the statue of Alexander the Great.

• Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - Your first stop in this historic city is the Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery with three levels carved into the rock dating back to the 1st or 2nd century.

• Pompey’s Pillar - Next, we’ll visit Pompey’s Pillar, a 26.85-meter granite column built to honor Emperor Diocletian. We’ll then proceed to the Citadel of Qaitbay, constructed on the site of Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse, offering a beautiful sea view. Following this, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the famous Alexandria Library (extra ticket required) and St. Mark’s Church, the oldest church in Africa. An optional stop to try seafood is available. Finally, we’ll drive back to Cairo to your hotel.

• Rashid Citadel of Qaitbay - Next, we’ll visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, built on the site of Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse, offering a beautiful sea view.

• Bibliotheca Alexandria - Then, you’ll visit the renowned Alexandria Library. An optional stop to try seafood is available.

• Cairo - Finally, we’ll transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
