Amazing Alexandria Day Trip – A Perfect Escape from Cairo! - Our day tour to Alexandria from Cairo was an unforgettable experience! The city’s mix of ancient history and Mediterranean charm made it a perfect getaway. We started at the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an incredible underground burial site with a fascinating blend of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman influences. Then, we visited Pompey’s Pillar, an impressive ancient monument surrounded by ruins. The highlight of the tour was the stunning Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. The views of the Mediterranean from the fortress were breathtaking! We also explored the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern masterpiece that pays tribute to the ancient Library of Alexandria. We enjoyed a delicious seafood lunch by the sea, soaking in the coastal vibes. The trip was well-organized, and our guide made the history come alive with interesting stories. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to explore Alexandria’s rich history and beautiful seaside scenery

History and beauty on the coast The excursion - to Alexandria from Cairo was wonderful. I learned a lot about the Greek and Roman history of Egypt while exploring places like the catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa and the Roman Amphitheater. In addition, the views of the Mediterranean Sea were spectacular, and lunch at a seafront restaurant was the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommended for history and natural beauty lovers
