Embark on a full-day comprehensive tour of Alexandria’s notable sites, among them the Kom Elshokafa Catacombs, Pompey’s Pillar, Alexandria Library, Quitbay Fortress, and the Roman Amphitheater. You will be picked up from your accommodation in Cairo by your tour guide who will be with you the entire day. Your journey to Alexandria, which is a 3-hour drive, begins from here. Upon arriving in Alexandria, your guide will lead you to The Catacombs, a Roman burial site from the second century. Next, you’ll stop by Pompey’s Pillar, the wreckage of the Serabium. Your tour continues to Kom Eddekka where you will witness the Roman Amphitheater. You’ll have a lunch break where you can choose to have seafood or Egyptian delicacies, with vegetarian options available. Post lunch, you’ll head to the Quitbay Fortress, erected on the remnants of a historic lighthouse. Finally, you’ll visit the Alexandria Library before we transfer you back to Cairo.
