A representative from Unitrave Tours will collect you from your hotel. We begin with Pompey’s Pillar, built to celebrate Emperor Diocletian in the late 4th century. This grand monument, once part of the temple of Serapis, could compete with the Soma and the Caesarean in its prime. Following this, you’ll explore the Catacombs, an expansive Roman Cemetery carved out of rock, spanned across three levels. You’ll enjoy a local lunch at a restaurant in Alexandria, then we’ll proceed to the Qaitbay Citadel, constructed on the ancient grounds of the pharaohs’ Lighthouse of Alexandria, and onto the Bibliotheca Alexandria. To conclude, our representative will escort you back to your accommodation.
