Alexandria - A great tour if you want to see bit deeper into this wonderful countries soul. - The Egypt Royal Tour driver collected us (Myself, wife and son) from our hotel in Cairo before the sun had crested the pyramids. It was an early start but I was excited as much for the journey as for visiting Alexandria. The journey through the North Egyptian landscape revealed much about the country, passing farms, sugar processing chimneys and many many homes with pigeon towers on their sides. (Who knew pigeon was such a delicacy here... A preferred dish to be served to the Bride and Bridegroom after a wedding). In Alexandra we collected Abdul our guide. An Alexandra native he was able to answer all our questions and give a real flavour of the city. Alexandra is a working city so while you will find beauty when you look for it, (Or when it's pointed out) it is here you will get a real insight into the hard working soul of this country. Driving down the street of mechanics with half cars out front. Down the central square where couples take walks together. The beech where Abdul tells us Alexandrian families flock to in the summer after work for a boat rides to cool off. We visited the Tombs, the Citadel, Pompey's Pillar (Which has the original small library where scrolls were stored in stone shelves) and the new Library. We had a culinary highlight in Alexandra too. Abdul arranged the best table for us at the cities best fish restaurant. It's was Ramadan and he was fasting so unfortunately couldn't join us. The view of the Bay of Alexandra was amazing. Alexandria tour - Such a beautiful place, wish we had spent more time there. We had Amira Fawzy as our tour guide she did an amazing job showing us everything. We ended the day at the cafe by the beach which was beautiful. Thank you Amira

Day Trip to Alexandria - Great day! Lots of sites to take in. Heba was great and so was our driver. They were lots of fun. I did feel a bit rushed as I like a bit more time to explore. Heba went above and beyond and even took us to an oil shop that was not part of our itinerary. We had s very enjoyable trip

long trip to Alexandria. - long trip to Alexandria.it's a long drive to Alexandria, but you get a wonderful experience of the car lot, the fortress that the lighthouse used to stand on. and a wonderful trip down into the catacombs.t here is a lot of history here

Great variation to stay in Cairo - This tour is a great variation to your stay in Cairo as this city has a different atmosphere and different type of sites. And a day trip felt like the right amount of time for me, not too long but also enough. Hala was a great guide and customized the tour for me to include more historical sites.
