Historical walking tour of Alexandria - Tim was our guide and he showed his passion for early American history. Looking at the lovely colonial homes, taverns and the church that George Washington attended brought that period to life for us. It was a very enjoyable afternoon.

Great way to learn about Alexandria history - Tim is an amazing storyteller. He is passionate about his city and it shows! He is able to weave our country’s history into an enjoyable walking tour! He backs up his information with maps, photos and interesting documents. Very cool! We have family that lives in the area and they enjoyed learning about the streets and buildings they’ve been by many times. This tour is a must for people who have never been to Alexandria but also for those who live nearby! 10 out of 10 stars!

The Best Tour filled with history and unknown facts - Our group was in Alexandria for a reunion of retirees. Tim, the owner of the company gave our group a presentation at our opening dinner filled with interesting facts. Our walking tour the next day was filled with visual and verbal information and story. Tim did a great job of taking us to places with significant historical value. Tim talked with us in a conversational manner that encouraged us to asked questions. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Tim and taking the well planned walking tour. This was a great find for our group!

Best Experience in DC for Time and Money - Old town Alexandria History Tour guide Tim is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We walked about 1.5 miles around the city and stopped frequently to learn about the founding fathers with connections to Alexandria. We learned about original city footprint and various occupations during wars with the British and the Civil War. Slave trade, maritime activity and Robert E. Lee’s boyhood home was also featured. We enjoyed the visit to Washington’s church and sat in his pew. The tour is scheduled for 1.5 hours but allow some extra time because Tim will stay until he answers all of your questions. Ask about discounts with local merchants if you mention the Walking Tour. It was a highlight of our time in the DC area.

One of Best Guides Ever! - Wayne was an excellent, professional guide. Very accommodating to some slower walkers in the group. Took us from place to place, stopped in the shade (it was hot!), and told us about each place. Made history so interesting and entertaining. He was a truly great guide. Seamless presentation, used photos from large iPad to illustrate his stories as he was telling them. Let us know where bathrooms were located during the tour. Asked if anyone needed a stop. Md some good restaurant recommendations. Couldn't have asked for a more professional guide.
