Fantastic experience - We had the perfect experience over 3 hours. Marina was our guide through the market and then back to the kitchen. She was a wonderful host and teacher. We had a lovely group of 7 in total and with snacks and drinks provided whilst we cooked it was a very sociable experience. The 2 rice dishes were great and the kitchen very clean and modern. I would highly recommend this to any visitor it was very good value.

Great fun - Marina was great and we had a fab time. She took us around the market explaining the food and secret ingredients, we then went to the workshop and cooked two paellas (arroz) one fish and one meat. We had snacks and drinks throughout. We really enjoyed ourselves and the group was lovely too. Highly recommend.

Recommended - Marina has received us warmly. The tour of the food market was fun. She speaks English well. Atmosphere was relaxed. Kitchen was neat and clean and proper preparation was already made. There were plenty of snacks and drinks. Good explanation and guidance !! And then together we have a nice paella dinner. Recommended..👍 .

Enjoyable experience - Four of us booked this activity whilst in Alicante. We met Nina at the mercado and she walked us through the different areas of the telling us some history of the building. She took us to the stalls that she shopped from. After an hour we walked the short distance to the Alicante Tasting Club kitchen. Everyone helps prep the veg, meat and snacks. Nina kept our wine glasses topped up as we worked. The paella recipe is maybe different from ones you know as it is local to the area. Nina was informative, very friendly and good fun. Recommend the experience if you are in the city.

Enjoyable Experience - We really enjoyed our experience with Marina, she’s a very friendly and welcoming hostess. Firstly, we were shown around the market where the produce was bought from, we were introduced to some stall holders and given more information about some of the ingredients. We then walked to the restaurant. Here we had some snacks from the market and a drink while we prepared the food. Between the 2 of us, we cooked a vegetable ‘Arroz’ and another couple cooked a chicken ‘Arroz’. Once our dishes were ready, we were given another drink (soft, beer or wine) and we sat together to eat our meal. The vegetarian ‘arroz’ was not as tasty as the chicken ‘arroz’, but we are aware that this isn’t as traditional and it doesn’t usually get cooked in the class. Our only downfall is that we attempted to inform the company on 3 different platforms that one of us is vegetarian prior to the experience happening, however we did not get a response and the hostess was unaware of this and therefore was not prepared, however it was not an issue.

great experience - It was very well organised and a lot of fun. But at the same time, very instructive and we have learned a lot so we make our paella at home. Great experience

Skip a day on the beach- learn to make original paella - Marina was very kind and informative, good in english! Making paella was very good . We learned a lot!!. But we’ve expected greater challenge in making tapas… The wine was a very good quality- and we’ve had all what we asked for.
