Explore the inlands of the Valencian Community, its hilly terrain, and its relatively unexplored cities boasting rich and well-conserved history that are bound to astonish you. Xàtiva was among the most significant historical cities, brimming with palaces and heritage, the birthplace of the renowned Borgia family. We’ll drive up to its castle, a former state prison offering panoramic landscape views stretching over 80km. We’ll then move on to Ontinyent, a city with a historical textile industry that retains its medieval district, the Duchess’s palace and an impressive museum dedicated to Moors and Christians festivals and pageants, which we’ll be exploring. Lastly, we’ll visit Anna, home to a palace that was reconditioned by artisans from Morocco, featuring carvings, artwork and gardens, earning it fame and the moniker - ‘the Valencian Alhambra’
