Additional Information

The ancient hilltop town of Guadalest and the organic cascades of Algar are essential visits for anyone touring the Costa Blanca. Your expedition initiates with a comfortable, air-conditioned coach pick-up from designated points in Albir, Altea, Benidorm or Calpe*. Following a roughly 35-40 minute journey, you’ll reach Guadalest. There, you are allocated 2-hours of leisure time to discover the falls and adjacent landscapes at your discretion. The duration of stays in Guadalest may extend to three hours throughout the months of June and September. Precise timings will be conveyed to you on the day of the trip. Following Guadalest, you’ll venture to the waterfalls to spend an afternoon in nature’s own waterpark. The falls are multi-levelled, featuring several swimming points, a diving spot and mild streams and pools for those desiring to bathe in the pristine mountain waters.

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • People with walking difficulties will not be able to access most parts of the Algar Waterfalls due to the number of steps
  • Manual collapsible wheelchairs can be stored in the coach luggage hold, however, the driver is unable to assist passengers boarding and disembarking due to insurance regulations
  • Please provide a mobile number at the time of booking so that we can contact you in the event that we have any difficulty locating you
  • Dress code: Comfortable clothes and shoes. Bring swimwear, beach shoes, towel and change of clothes if you plan on bathing at the waterfalls
  • Please note that there are occasions when it is not possible to enter the waters at the falls if it is deemed unsafe by the local authorities.
  • All passengers must be suitably dressed to travel. A top covering the torso and shorts as a minimum are required. “mesh style” or sheer clothing will not be permitted.

Memorable experience - All through fantastic trip. Very beautiful visit to Guadalest, with lovely views and shops with great souvenirs. Swimming in the Algar Falls was a one of a kind experience. Well prepared guide and bus driver. The bus delay was not the blame of the staff, but the traffic conditions up at the Algar waterfalls. A recommendable experience.

5 stars - Great day trip to Guadalest and Algar waterfalls, very well organised, left at 10.30 and back at 5.30pm. The village is very pretty with good selection of souvenir shops and cafes. Dont wear sandals or flip flops as it involves some steep walks. We had a lot if fun jumping off the rocks into the deep rock pools.

Great day trip and excellent value for money - Excellent trip with a really good guide (Will) who gave us great advice then left us to explore in our own time Both venues were very good but remember to take swim shoes to get the best experience at Algar Highly recommended

Amazing experience - The trip was absolutely worth it, both places were stunning just wish we had a little bit more time at the waterfalls 3 hours would have been better instead of 2 but overall we had an amazing experience. Highly recommend

Great day trip - This is a great way to visit Guadalest and the Algar waterfalls. The trip is very well organised, the bus clean and modern and our guide Cathy was very welcoming / knowledgeable. You get ample free time in both locations to enjoy at your own pace. For the Albir collection, we had been waiting at the Albir Playa Hotel but the pick-up point was actually the roundabout in front of the hotel which we thankfully clarified via telephone as the bus was running slightly behind. Other than this, the experience was very seamless.

Crowded waterfall full of people - Don't go in high season if you only come for the falls! You enter a water park that is overcrowded. We went the last time slot on purpose because it would be quiet. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

Disappointed this time! - We spent more time on the bus picking up others up than at each destination, very disappointed this time. Lisa wasn’t very clear on pick up time in Guadalest she said to be back for 13:15 but didn’t show up to the bus till 13:45, wasted 40 minutes sat around. Been to waterfalls a few times & had plenty of time to walk around, get food etc but this time we had to make a choice, walk around or eat! Wouldn’t recommend doing both on one day due to limited times. Picking others up took 2 hours.
