Informative and tasty! - This was an excellent experience. The host took us round the market and explained what produce he was buying and why. The neighbourhood cafe where the cooking took place was perfect. I have a better idea of how to cook paella and throughly enjoyed eating it, drinking the sangria and the starter that we prepared.

5* dining by my own fair hands - What an amazing experience in a small intimate group with knowledgeable hosts. First introductions then shopping around the beautiful, traditional market. Chance to explore the ingredients and learn about the origins of the hams. Watch fishmongers prepare your stock bits and choose only the best ingredients. Then short work to the kitchen to start to prepare and understand the origins of ‘rice’ We made both meat and seafood dishes as well as lively tomato and salted cod salad. Every had a go to join in and we all made and tasted a simple sangria which was so refreshing. Whole process took about 3 hours till final tasting and was so relaxed and informative. Would recommend, especially if looking for something to do as a solo traveller

Do it! Very nice workshop. - Recommended! Very nice workshop. You will first go shopping in the indoor Point of Sale. A little further down the road you will work in a kitchen under supervision. A lot was explained and in consultation you choose what you want to do. Result: enjoyed a delicious sangria and paella.

Not worth the money - The food was very disappointing. There were 12 of us 11 wanting fish and one wanted meat. The shrimp were some of the smallest I have seen and it couldn’t have been more than 1/2 lb shelled. Baby squid was used and maybe 1 and 1/2 lb. All of this for 11 people. He kept saying that it is all about the rice. The sangria was watered down with juice and soda. Fred was knowledgeable and friendly
