Experience of a lifetime - What an experience! Love the small group; beautiful and diverse scenery; challenging hikes with plenty of time to relax; and conscientious, knowledgeable and fun guides. Jim and Silvia were awesome. Passionate about the land and culture; group’s safety paramount; organized and efficient (in a good way); they are both compassionate and supportive with a great sense of humor. Jim and Silvia made an experience of a lifetime truly special. Thank you! Susan, WI/USA

Great experience with super nice guide Jim (Gemma) - We had a very nice experience and our tour guide Jim (Gemma) was really great and enthusiastic 😃. She took care of everything and told a lot about the history and fauna👍 We had beautifull walks and our group was also very nice. The only negative remark is that the foam mattresses at the camp grounds need to be replaced because some of them were really bad 😫 So our rating of excellent is for Jim and the walks 👍 Greetings Bianca and Marlie

Unforgettable - Just been on a trip with Autopia Tours Red Center Kata Tjuta to Kings Canyon. A great trip, can be highly recommended, our guide and driver Jim, she does a great job, from early morning to late evening. Read from 4 am to 9 pm She stood for both morning awakening, cooking, driving and an incredible knowledge of wildlife, geology and the ancient tales and legends that the Aborigines have held for centuries. Just want to say it's his thing to drive such a bus, on hollow ground roads. Had to upgrade my trip with an extra day, the day I found out there was one. On the last day, we went to Ellys Creek Big Hole, where we had a refreshing water. Super guide, great company and perfect weather. 18 stars from here ⭐️

Great Adventure - It really felt like a roadtrip with friends! Our Guides Jenn & Josie were competent, friendly and gave a lot of background information about the sights, plants and animals of the Outback. Internet signal is better than expected, but of course there are a lot of black spots along the tour. You can also charge your phones on the bus and at the campsites (if solar pannels could create energy through sun). You should be aware, that a certain fitness level is needed to be able to deal with the hikes and temperatures! We highly recommend this Tour!

A unique and once in a lifetime experience - We just got back from this tour and it was a unique experience that we will remember for a very long time. Our guide, Ashley, took fantastic care of us and looked after our well-being. However, guests who book this tour should be aware of a few things: it is not a walk in the park, you need to be physically fit and be able to tolerate heat well. We were there in mid-October, in spring, and it was up to 40 degrees celsius (100 degrees fahrenheit). Getting up early (04:00) is a must in these temperatures and to watch the sunrise. The camps are simply furnished, some with showers that are heated with wood. It is also a very long drive from Alice Springs to the sights. Ash always made plenty of stops for coffee and toilet breaks. He always informed us about the programme in detail and gave us lots of interesting details about the plants, animals and inhabitants. So if you are up for an adventure and enjoy hiking (3 tours between 2-4 hours and some climbs), you will get your money's worth. However, those who prefer to stay in an air-conditioned hotel and swim in the pool should not go on this tour. After all, this is the Australian outback

Great tour, wonderful scenery, best tour guide :) - If you have time for a tour for 3 days and want to get the most out of it, that's the best decision! Our tour guide Ash was well informed and always kept us happy with snacks and his open and funny manner! Thanks to him our tour was a complete success:) By the way, this was my first guided tour on a holiday and was really positively surprised as this is not my first choice for Trips otherwise. But maybe my group and I just got lucky with such a great tour guide;) Thanks, Ash!

VERY MIXED REVIEWS - We were a group of 12 people + 2 young female guides, of different nationalities, and all exchanged in English. The atmosphere was very good. The information provided by the guides was clear and interesting. On the other hand, first negative point about the accommodation on the 1st night: I expected to spend the night in bush swag in a nice setting. But we spent the night lying between the local kitchen and tents, surrounded by ants running on the ground. Second negative: a lot of time wasted repeating instructions (heat, drinking, sunscreen, etc...), too much time wasted lazy (reading, swimming) instead of walking and discovering the outback. We haven't even been around Ayers Rock! Attic! Same for Kata Tjuta: we stayed on the observation platform to trample! Third point, and that makes it ridiculous! Autopia informs us that it reserves the right to accept this or that person to make the exit, depending on his health and the weather. And there were our two guides who were tired and breathless. With several other tourists, we decided to follow a sign saying "look out", but they did not agree!! In short, this excursion is perfect for discovering the region, with family or for the elderly or sick, but not to explore it! As an athlete, I am extremely disappointed! Autopia should provide sporty and healthy guides (male or female), which was not the case here. At least I was able to get in touch with real guides on the spot for a next stay and a real trek!
