Fabulous, gorgeous, Fantastic - Shearna was our hardworking energy bunny of a guide. She was filled with fabulous information about the geology, plant and animal life and had a sharp sense of humor!! The group all helped each other out and enjoyed each other’s company!! The second nights camp sight near kings canyon was extra special with our own private campground just for our group, wood fired boiler for hot showers and a lovely sight for sunset! The hikes were progressively more difficult and each day was spectacular!! Highly recommend

Travel from Alice Springs to Uluru to Kata Tjuta to Kings Canyon back to Alice Springs with Sanne - How do I describe this trip? We were picked up by Sanne early in the morning (6am), then drove to pick up others from the airport at Yulara, as well as the township. With everyone onboard, we made a cultural stop at the centre to learn about the area, followed by a breathtaking whistle-stop tour of the majestic Uluru. Getting up close and personal to this magnificent structure makes one realise the innate sacredness of Uluru, and you immediately understand the decision to close down the walk to the top of the rock. To me, it really did seem that it was simply way too sacred to set foot on. Just being in its presence was awe-inspiring! Another really early start saw us at the incomparable Kata Tjuta to view daybreak, then sunrise from the first lookout, followed by a leisurely stroll to the second lookout. For those that wanted to continue the full circuit were given the opportunity, with Sanne giving us credit for knowing which way we wanted to go and supporting our decision to enable that to happen. A stop in Yulara for a hot chocolate was a welcomed break, then it was off to Atila and the Salt Lake on Curtin Springs Station at Petermann for a viewing of both, before driving to Kings Creek Station for the night. Another early start saw us at Kings Canyon for a 6km walk around the rim before returning to Kings Creek Station for lunch. Even though we got drenched, it was spectacular and easily doable. It was probably better than walking in full sunlight! We then drove back to Alice Springs to recover from the action-packed tour. Although this was marketed as a backpackers tour, and we were the oldest, by far, in the group, it was brilliant and easily doable. The group was very cohesive, even with a 51-year disparity in ages. Sanne's knowledge was impressive for a young lady, and she handled herself and everyone else with ease. The days were very long with extremely early starts, but I always figure that there's no time like the present to cross off everything on your bucket list. You could be dead tomorrow, so don't wait! If you are lucky enough to get Sanne as your guide, then you will have the best time ever. Just do it!!! Thank you so much, Sanne. We hope to see you again soon.

He has great knowledge and respect of Aborigines people, their culture, history and way of life. As well as botanical and astronomy, not to mention his musical talents. Fantastic guitar playing and singing around the campfire. Thank you for making these 3 days so incredible.

Amazing experience in the Outback - What an incredible trip to the Red Centre with a diverse, multi-national group! Our wonderful and enthusiastic tour guide, Shearna, educated us on aboriginal culture and dreaming stories, led us on breathtaking hikes, and kept us groaning at her endless puns. We camped in gorgeous locations, watched the sunrises and sunsets, and shared secrets around the campfire. We even got to see wild dromedary camels! This was an amazing experience that left us with a wealth of lasting memories.

great trip - fantastic experience and well worth it. our guide Hunter did a great job of making it fun and interesting. we got lots of extra tidbits of info during the hikes and enormous helpings of food. there is a lot of driving on this tour as well as very early mornings. our group was great and worked together to get camp organized. we slept in the safari tents but in hindsight would have been fine with the swags. staring at the stars was unforgettable.

Rhett, you are a legend! - My girlfriend and I went on the three-day and two-nights trip to the Red Centre. It was an unforgettable experience and we enjoyed every moment of it. The tour was very well organized from start to finish, and everything went perfectly. We were picked up on time from Ayers Rock Resort, which set the stage for a smooth journey. We began our adventure with a visit to the Uluru. As the sun set, we witnessed the changing colors of Uluru, a magical moment. The second day took us to Kata Tjuta, another natural wonder of the Red Centre. The hike through the Valley of the Winds was beautiful. Our final day was spent exploring Kings Canyon. The rim walk offered stunning views. After the walk we were brought back to Alice Springs. The campsites were comfortable, and the food was very good. Since we traveled during winter, nighttime temperatures dropped to around 0 degrees Celsius. Despite having sleeping bags, it was quite cold in the tents. Therefore, I would recommend using swags, as they were warmer and offered a breathtaking view of the night sky. It's also advisable to bring warm clothes for the mornings and evenings to stay cozy against the cold. The best part of the entire tour was undoubtedly our guide Rhett! His enthusiasm and passion for sharing and explaining everything were absolutely top-notch. Rhett went above and beyond for us and he raised the tour from an amazing to an unforgettable tour. In the evenings, he entertained us around the campfire with his guitar and singing, or he would explain the night sky to us with his incredible knowledge of astronomy. Unforgettable was when he prepared kangaroo tail for us, which he had cut from a "fresh" dead kangaroo. His ability to engage the group and share his extensive knowledge made the tour a unique experience. Rhett is undoubtedly the best tour guide we ever had. Thank you Rhett for this amazing experience, you are a legend!

Awesome experience - Amazing trip, would 100% recommend. We had Rhett as our tour guide, he was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and showed he had a real passion for the history of Uluru and Aboriginal culture. The camp-sites were great, in some scenic spots where you really feel part of nature. All 3 days were a blast. Thanks Rhett!
