Shymbulak - Shymbulak Ski Resort is a premier ski destination near Almaty, recognized as the largest in Central Asia. Nestled in the upper Medeu Valley within the Zailiisky Alatau mountain range, it stands at an elevation of 2,200 meters (7,200 ft) above sea level. The resort is approximately 25 kilometers (16 miles) south of Almaty city, accessible via Medeo road. It is renowned for its mild climate, abundant sunny days, and substantial snowfall from November to May.
