Shymbulak Mountain Resort

Shymbulak - Shymbulak Ski Resort is a premier ski destination near Almaty, recognized as the largest in Central Asia. Nestled in the upper Medeu Valley within the Zailiisky Alatau mountain range, it stands at an elevation of 2,200 meters (7,200 ft) above sea level. The resort is approximately 25 kilometers (16 miles) south of Almaty city, accessible via Medeo road. It is renowned for its mild climate, abundant sunny days, and substantial snowfall from November to May.

Gorky Central Park - Also known as Gorky Park, this urban park is situated in the Medeu District of Almaty. It features a variety of trees, including elm, oak, aspen, maple, pine, spruce, poplar, and birch, along with artificial water reservoirs. The park offers attractions such as a water park, movie theater, sports complex, cultural venues, and dining establishments. Children’s attractions include a children’s railway, an aqua park, and other entertainment options.

Oi Qaragay Resort

Mountain Resort «Oi-Qaragai Lesnaya Skazka» - This mountain resort, Lesnaya Skazka, is located in a serene area of the Ile-Alatau National Park, 4.3 miles from Besqaynar and a 35-minute drive from Almaty. It offers a spa and wellness center, a ropes park, and complimentary WiFi. A skiing trail is just 450 yards away, and horse riding is available on-site. This pedestrian street is famous for the TSUM Shop, a blend of a department store and bazaar, catering to locals’ daily needs. Alma-Arasan Gorge - The Alma-Arasan Valley is a mountain gorge located in the southwest of Almaty, at an altitude of 1780 meters on the northern slope of the Trans-Ili Alatau. The Prokhodnaya River, a tributary of the Bolshaya Almatinka, flows through the gorge.

Kok-Tobe Hill - Known as “Blue Hill,” Kok Tobe is a mountain in Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city. Park Named After Panfilov’s 28 Guardsmen - The 28 Panfilov Guardsmen Park is an urban park surrounding the Ascension Cathedral in east-central Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is dedicated to the Panfilov heroes, 28 soldiers from an Alma-Ata Infantry unit who reportedly perished defending Moscow from the German invasion during World War II.
