Park Named After Panfilov’s 28 Guardsmen - After breakfast, visit the park named after the 28 Panfilov guards from Almaty, who heroically defended Moscow against the Nazi invasion in 1941.

Zenkov’s Cathedral - The world’s tallest wooden church.

Central State Museum of Kazakhstan - The largest museum in Kazakhstan and one of the largest in Central Asia. It houses the most significant collection of Kazakh historical, archaeological, and modern cultural and political artifacts.

Almaty-Tashkent

Ensemble Hazrati Imam - After breakfast, take a flight to Tashkent. Depart from Almaty at 12:15 and arrive in Tashkent at 12:50. Meet with our guide and driver. Lunch at a local restaurant, then visit Ensemble Hazrati Imam, a cultic architectural complex and the religious heart of Tashkent, located in the old part of the city. Here, visit Barak Khan madrasah (built in the 16th century), Kaffal Shashi mausoleum (built in the 16th century), Namazgah mosque (built in 1965), and Muyi Muborak madrasah (built in the 16th century). The madrasah currently houses the library of the Administration of the Muslims of Uzbekistan, which contains rare manuscripts and the Koran of Caliph Osman (7th century) – the world’s oldest manuscript consisting of 353 unusually large parchments with the earliest version of the Koran.

Kukeldash Madrasah - The largest of the 23 madrasahs of old Tashkent, built in 1569 by the Minister of Tashkent Sheibanid Sultans Barak Khan and Dervish Khan, nicknamed “Kukeldash.”

Chorsu Bazaar - One of the largest bazaars in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, located in the old part of Tashkent called Eski Shahar. The bazaar was known in the Middle Ages and was of great importance on the Great Silk Road.

Uzbekistan State Museum of Applied Art - Founded in 1937 based on a temporary exhibition of handicrafts. The museum’s collection contains over 4,000 exhibits that reveal the history of Uzbekistan’s decorative art, including wood carving, ceramics, embossing, jewelry, gold seamstresses, embroidery, and samples of local industry mass production.

Mustaqillik Maydoni - Located in the center of Tashkent. Major state events and parades are held here on national holidays.

Amir Temur Square - A favorite spot for both locals and visitors, located in the center of Tashkent. Overnight stay in Tashkent.

Tashkent-Urgench-Khiva

Itchan Kala - After breakfast, take a flight to Urgench. Arrive in Urgench at 09:00. Drive to Khiva city (35 km). Upon arrival in Khiva, leave luggage at the hotel and tour the historical complex Ichan-Kala, an almost intact medieval old town area in Khiva. It was the first site in Central Asia to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Overnight stay in Khiva.

Ashgabat - The capital of Turkmenistan, famous for its white marble buildings and grandiose monuments.

Bukhara-Samarkand

Lyabi House Hotel - Lyab-i Hauz Ensemble is a popular tourist attraction in Bukhara, often used as a rest stop due to its grandeur, tranquility, and historical significance. It is located in the southeast shakhristan, near the main Bukhara trade street.

Bukhara Synagogue - Built in the 16th century.

Magoki Attori Mosque - A medieval architectural monument; a column-domed mosque from the 12th-16th centuries in the historical center of Bukhara. Located more than 4.5 meters below ground level, it is notable for its carved decor. It is one of the oldest surviving monuments in Bukhara.

Kalon Minaret - Poi Kalyan is an architectural ensemble at the foot of the Kalyan minaret. The complex consists of three buildings from the 12th-16th centuries: the Kalyan minaret, the Kalyan mosque, and the Miri Arab madrasah. Poi Kalyan is located on Registan Square and is the central architectural ensemble of Bukhara.

Ark of Bukhara - An ancient citadel in Bukhara, Uzbekistan; a monumental fortress rising almost 20 meters above the surrounding area and covering about 4 hectares.

Samarkand - At 15:50, take the high-speed train “Afrasiyab” to Samarkand. Arrive in Samarkand at 17:15, the 3rd largest city in Uzbekistan and the administrative center of the Samarkand region. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Samarkand.

Samarkand-Tashkent

Amir Temur Mausoleum Gur-i Amir Complex - Gur Emir is the mausoleum of Tamerlane, his mentor Mir Sayyid Barak, and some members of the Timur family in Samarkand.

Registan - Registan Square features three huge madrasahs: Ulughbek (15th century), Shirdar (17th century), and Tillakori (17th century).

Ulugh Beg Observatory - One of the most significant observatories of the Middle Ages, built by Ulugbek on Kuhak Hill near Samarkand between 1424-1428.

Shah-i-Zinda - A medieval architectural monument in Samarkand, an ensemble of mausoleums of the Karakhanid and Timurid nobility. The complex consists of eleven mausoleums that were sequentially attached to each other during the 14th-15th centuries.

Bibi-Khanym Mausoleum - An architectural monument from 1399-1404 in Samarkand, the grandiose cathedral mosque of Tamerlane, richly decorated with tiles, carved marble, and murals.

Tashkent - At 17:30, take the Afrasiyab high-speed train to Tashkent (2 hours 10 minutes). Tashkent is the capital of Uzbekistan, known for its numerous museums and a mix of modern and Soviet architecture. Arrive in Tashkent at 19:40. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Tashkent.

Tashkent-Bishkek

Bishkek - After breakfast, take a flight to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, located at the foot of the Tien Shan mountains in Central Asia.

Ala-Too Square - The central square of Bishkek, surrounded by the State Historical Museum, the Friendship of Peoples Monument, Oak Park with an open-air sculpture museum, and St. Nicholas Church, the oldest building in the city.

Oak Park - Also known as Chingiz Aitmatov Park, it is the oldest park in Bishkek and features the Open Air Sculpture Museum.

Ala-Archa Gorge - Ala-Archa National Park.

Bishkek-Burana Tower-Almaty

Burana Tower - A minaret from the 10th-11th centuries of the Karakhanid empire in the Chuy valley in northern Kyrgyzstan, located 80 km from Bishkek.

Almaty - After touring Burana Tower, take a flight or drive to Almaty. End of the tour.
