Highland Delight - Our guide, Lewis, met us at the port complete with kilt and sporran. We made our way northwards stopping at various lookout locations to admire the breathtaking views. Falls of Shin was our next stop and we were lucky to see salmon leaping. We had lunch in Dornoch, a pretty and quaint small village, and experienced tasty fish and chips. Next we saw seals and crane and made our way to Dunrobin Castle. The falconry demonstration (lasted half an hour) was informative and fun, the gardens were pretty and the castle was worth a visit. We went into the castle at about 3.30pm so it was quiet and easy to get round. A beautiful day trip and what a beautiful part of the world. Would recommend the trip to anyone - well worth it!

Excellent Private Tour - We went on an amazing tour today with Kate from Historic and Scenic Tours. It was our first private tour and it was so worth it! We were able to visit Dunrobin Castle, Falls of Shin, a distillery with whisky tasting, had a great lunch and learned so much about The Highlands! Kate was so knowledgeable about the sites and history of the area our group enjoyed it so much! By the end of the day, Kate seemed like family! We highly recommend and I'm sure we will be back for another tour in the future!

Beautiful castle - Beautiful castle and grounds didn't take too long to explore but was worth the visit. They also had a scavenger hunt through the castle to find lego figures for the kids where they got a lolly at the end so kept my5year old interested while we got to see the different rooms.

Great day in the Highlands - Two couples visited Dunrobin Castle and grounds including the falconry demonstration, a small waterfall, and a stop at a distillery our friends were interested in. All in all it read a very relaxed and informative day. Our guide, Donald, knew locals everywhere we went and had loads information on the area.

Absolutely Amazing!!!! - I would give this tour 10 stars if I could. I wanted a small tour for my 95 year old mom instead of a large shore excursion bus trip, and this fit the bill. Johnnie was so knowledgeable and very attentive to my mom's every need. He even walked down some stairs backwards so he could watch her and make sure she was safe! There were tourists in Dunrobin Castle following us so they could hear what Johnnie had to say. And he knows every country road in the area. I'm sure we saw parts of the Highlands that only a few tourists get to experience. This tour was the highlight of our trip.
