Stengelsen Husky - The communications with the proprietor were excellent and the pick-up arrangement was easy and timely. He was friendly and informative. He hosts you at his house where the kennels are. You are provided with a snow suit and snow boots. If you are fortunate to drive a sled, you get a comprehensive briefing. Everything is run at an accommodating pace. You are introduced to the huskies, who are so friendly. The ride is superb, about 8km, and it was great fun. The dogs love it! On return you get biscuits and a hot drink. A great day out. Highly recommended!!

If Carlsberg did sled trips, then this would probably…. - An incredible bucket list experience which exceeded expectations. Ole and Eva were great company as well as top mushers. We recommend this as value for money, exhilarating fun and would happily do it all over again!

Amazing Husky Sled Ride Experience in Alta - Just back from our Husky powered sled ride in Alta with Stengelsen Husky. What a truly fantastic experience, which completed exceeded our expectations! We were collected from the cruise port, just 2 couples, and taken to the house and Kennels. We changed into the warm coverall and boots provided which kept us warm and well protected We had time meeting and petting the dogs, who all seemed very well looked after and very friendly, not the biggest kennel in the area but must be one of the best tours as each couple had its own sled and dog team. After some clear instructions we set out on the trail following our guide. It was a truly wonderful experience, and we had perfect snow and weather conditions for our tour which lasted about 45 Minutes. The dogs are amazing and after a few minutes it is easy to grasp the basics of controlling the sled and following the track. If you are Alta and want to do Dog Sleds, this is the one to book, AMAZING and UNFORGETTABLE!

So fun! - This was such a fun experience! Johnny is a welcoming and knowledgeable host. He provided a warm overcoat and boots which was nice. We had plenty of time with the dogs before and after sledding. We sled for nearly 1 hour, and loved every minute of it!

You have to do this one!! - Ole, Ave and Natty were our hosts and were so informative and kind. They provided top notch winter jump suits to protect our clothing. We had coffee and cookies around their kitchen table. The huskys were friendly and eager for getting petted. They obeyed and loved our guides and knew Norwegian direction commands. The sleigh ride was fast, invigorating and smooth. We count this among one of our best tours ever.
