Riding a snowmobile is an exhilarating way to connect with nature. Prior to the tour, a brief instruction on snowmobile operation will be provided, followed by warm beverages to enjoy during the journey.

Participants can choose to join as passengers, but it’s crucial to select the appropriate option when booking—either shared mobile or single driver. All drivers must possess a valid car or motorcycle driving license.

The tour includes several stops for capturing the breathtaking scenery, and our guide will gladly share insights into the area’s history.

Riding a snowmobile is an excellent way to embrace freedom, and it’s an activity that the operator is thrilled to provide. Since 2007, the operator has been organizing guided tours, possessing extensive knowledge of the area and the optimal ways to explore it. Participants will be taken to stunning locations with unique and awe-inspiring views, where there will be opportunities to pause and capture photographs. With a bit of luck, there might even be a chance to encounter a herd of reindeer during their traditional migration across the mountain plateau.

• All the drivers most bring a regular driver license for cars or motorcycle.
• We require a minimum of 2 participants for the tour.
• The minimum age for this trip is 16 years old for the passenger and 18 years old for the driver.
• Cancellations can happen due to weather conditions. In this case, a full refund will be provided.
• Remember to take on warm clothing (first layer preferably wool and not cotton, second layer fleece or cotton), wool socks (not cotton), hat, mittens (not gloves) and scarf.
• Not suitable for people over 220 lbs (100 kg) and the passenger weight should not be over 75 kg.
• The activity includes risk by driving your own snowmobile on your car driving licence. Even if instructions are given about how to drive a snowmobile the responsible person is the person driving the snowmobile. You will be asked to sign a contract to confirm this before participating in the tour.
• Choose Alta Havn (Alta Harbour) as your pick up place if you are coming to Alta by cruise ship. Our guide will be there looking for you at the parking place with a black minibus.
• If your ship has a different time schedule than our tour, please contact us and we try to adapt to you.
