Interesting and tasty - The explanation of the process was very interesting. The things I couldn't actually see because of the wrong season were clearly explained and visualized. I loved the tasting and the fact that the oils were clearly very different. And of course the olive bear and snacks were very tasty. And even though it was only me, nothing was rushed, which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend to do the tour and tasting when in Altamura.

Oil, from tradition to innovation: the story of a family - The visit to the Perniola oil mill is a complete tour made of history and taste. It is interesting to discover, not only the technical process of oil production, but also the birth of the company, rural customs and traditions and their transformation over time. Other experiences being equal, extremely higher price and where less is offered, from Perniola the tour is very complete and consists of: • an overview of the company's history • illustration and explanation of oil production techniques • tasting of some types of oil • an aperitif with local products or their production. Much appreciated the particular attention in proposing gluten-free alternatives for celiacs. There is also the possibility of purchasing products. We were welcomed with so much kindness and helpfulness, in a genuine environment made of passion and dedication. Absolutely recommended!

Visit to olive oil mill - We were warmly received by one of the staff. She explained the process very well and spoiled us afterwards with a tasting of the different types of olive oil. We also got focaccia with something to drink. The entrance was a bit difficult to find, because Google Maps leads you to the wrong street. The visit also lasted a bit shorter than promised therefore 4 stars. It's worth it.
