At Mascarat, bungee jumping involves leaping between one modern bridge and another historical one, the latter being a remarkable piece of engineering constructed in the late 1800s.

The bridges of Mascarat, spanning between Altea and Calpe, arch across the Barranc Salat, more commonly referred to as the “Mascarat Canyon.” This thin gorge, located right near the waterfront, serves as the boundary separating the Marina Baja from the Marina Alta.
