Our driver will take you to the entrance of Vesuvio and will wait for you to return to the meeting point after your visit.
Our English-speaking, knowledgeable driver will provide a historical commentary on the volcano, giving you a great introduction before you explore the site.

We offer pick-up from any hotel, B&B, or private residence in Naples, Sorrento, or Positano for a 2-hour hike up Mt. Vesuvio to its crater.

Mt. Vesuvius
You will ascend to 3000 feet to view Naples and its suburbs. The driver will assist you in purchasing the tickets. Once acquired, you can begin your adventure climbing to the top of Mt Vesuvius. You will have approximately an hour and a half to explore this magnificent volcano. Despite its history of violent eruptions, Mount Vesuvius offers a stunning view of the surrounding area, which is a national park. The eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in AD79 buried the cities of Pompeii and Ercolano under ash, mud, and lava. It caused significant damage but preserved immaculate artifacts that can be seen today. This is a fantastic trip up the stratovolcano, allowing tourists to appreciate the natural scenery and history.
