Embark on a Death Valley adventure with a small group exploration. Discover aliens, secret government history, and geological wonders spanning 1.5 billion years. Hike, climb, and explore ghost towns and mining sites in this unique tour!

Duration: 12 hours
Cancellation: 24 hours
Highlights
  • Amargosa Valley - Area 51 Alien Center: make a stop at the quirkiest alien and UFO inspired gift shop near Las Vegas!
  • Rhyolite - See Rhyolite Ghost town that was so prominent in its rise in 1904 that instead of wooden construction for the buildings in town they used concrete which has left behind a spooky skeleton of an early 20th century gold rush!

Also see art exhibits of the Goldwell Open Air Museum.

  • Death Valley National Park - Enter through Hells Gate where we stop and view the largest national park in the lower 48 states of the United States.
  • Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes - Take a few minutes to wander the collection of wind erosion culminating in huge sand dunes in the middle of Death Valley. Also the site of famous science fiction Hollywood cinema filming.
  • Burned Wagons Point - Have Lunch at the Toll Road Restaurant and see the famous Burned Wagons Point Memorial.
  • Furnace Creek Visitor Center - The famous Death Valley thermometer awaits outside the visitor center. Inside you can see the following: topographical map of the entire area, history of the region, view examples of wildlife, and much more!

Souvenirs, gifts, and restrooms also available here.

  • Badwater - Beautiful scenic drive through the valley to Badwater Basin to walk on the lowest elevation in North America. The air is more dense and the water on site is not drinkable, hence the name!
  • Artists Palette - View or even walk on the volcanic exposition of colors, hills and canyons.
  • Zabriskie Point - Christian Zabriskie’s name from Borax mining fame adorns this spectacular vista showcasing natures erosive abilities. Hiking trails all around and famous Hollywood filming locations too.
  • Dante’s View - See the highest paved viewpoint in Death Valley with views across that are further and deeper than Grand Canyon West and rivaling Grand Canyon National Park’s widest point.

Sometimes we will substitute another higher location when weather and conditions permit.

Fun in the valley of death - We went to Death Valley with Jason as our guide. We had a great time, 4 people on tour so got useful info and conversation. It is a very interesting place. Jason did a great job and had ice cold water all day long. We went with him the next day to Zion on another good tour

Great experience; highly recommend! - Four of us took this tour with Brian who was knowledgeable, fun, and helped us with group pictures. My husband is a huge Star wars fan and Brian added several facts about Star wars throughout the tour. I feel as though the value we received was more than the monetary value we paid. What a great experience; if we ever went back I would absolutely book with this company again!!!

1st Class Experience! - I've previously used Mojave Wave for trips to Zion (which I would also recommend). I wouldn't hesitate to use them as everytime they deliver. This was my first time to Death Valley and the tour was perfect at a competitive price. Transport was great with a small group which made it more personal. Brian was our guide for the day and provides you with plenty of information about all the various stops and ensures that all the guests are looked after throughout. The day covered multiple destinations which were all timed perfectly and Death Valley was incredible to see. Don't hesitate to use Mojave - the amount of 5 star reviews speak for themselves.

Worthwhile Way to Spend the Day - Our guide and driver, Brian, has a wealth of knowledge about Las Vegas and Death Valley. His narrative was very interesting and educational. His personal knowledge of Death Valley only added to the narrative. Death Valley, Area 51, the “wild” donkeys, the ghost town of Rhyolite, the old mining cave and the owls sighting were just some of the highlights. We saw and learned so much more than expected. There were plenty of stops along the way for bathroom breaks and refreshments. Truly a very worthwhile way to spend the day.

BOOK IT NOW! - We saw wild burros & a ROAD RUNNER! Jason convinced me to taste the salt at Badwater and make a sand dune angel despite trailing all of the sand into his super clean vehicle. Great tour guide for a breathtaking tour. BY FAR THE BEST THING I DID IN THE VEGAS AREA

Amazing - We went on this trip yesterday and our tour guide Jason was amazing. Nothing was too much and he kept us entertained all day. On Viator it says breakfast not included it is and you get taken to an amazing place. There are also lots of little surprises included with this tour but won’t spoil them. Can’t recommend this tour enough and would definitely use this company again

SIMPLY AMAZING 🥰🥰🥰 - Our first time to Vegas and found this tour on Viator, didn’t know what to expect but exceeded all our expectations. We had Jason as our guide and what an amazing guide he was, he keeps you entertained all day. Viator say food not included but it is and what a lovely restaurant you get taken to. If we come back to Vegas would definitely use this company as very attentive and they make sure your experience is one to remember. There lots of little surprises included also. Thank you again Jason Jo and Les from England

Perfection - This tour was better than I could’ve ever expected! Brian was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. We saw everything advertised and a few extra places was included. The group was 6 people total. Nobody was in a time crunch so extra stops was added including walking into an abandoned gold mine. I will definitely be booking with them again!
