Ambepussa is a midway point to Kandy, known for its breakfast and refreshments. You can inform our chauffeur if you wish to stop there.
Susantha Spice and Herbal Garden - Sri Lanka is renowned for its diverse spices, which are also a major export. During this visit, you’ll learn about the various spices in Sri Lanka, their cultivation, and harvesting processes. A complimentary herbal drink will be provided to each visitor.
Kandy - Upon arriving in Kandy, we will head to the hotel for check-in and some relaxation before the next activity at 5:00 pm.
Kandy Lake Club - Cultural Dance Show - The Kandy cultural show is a highlight, featuring a range of cultural performances by skilled artists, including dancing, drumming, and other entertainment from different parts of Sri Lanka. The show concludes with a fire dance and fire walking segment. It starts at 5:00 pm and ends at 6:00 pm.
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - This temple in Kandy is considered the most important Buddhist temple globally. Most tourists to Sri Lanka include it in their itinerary. It’s within walking distance from the cultural center, so we can proceed there right after the show.
Kandy View Point - Also known as Arthur’s Seat, this viewpoint offers a stunning overlook of Kandy city. The best time to visit is in the evening, making it perfect after the temple visit. You can see the beautiful Kandy lake, temple, and city from here.
Sigiriya, Dambulla, and Safari Tour
Matale - After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Sigiriya from Kandy.
Our first stop is Matale, a city en route to Sigiriya. We can visit a famous Hindu Kovil located in the middle of Matale city for a few minutes.
Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - This world heritage site is considered the 8th wonder of the world and is a must-visit in Sri Lanka. It’s best to start the climb early to avoid the midday heat and sun.
Pidurangala Rock - Another historically significant rock near Sigiriya. Some travelers prefer it over Sigiriya rock. You can choose one as we won’t have time to cover both.
Hiriwadunna - The traditional village safari at Hiriwadunna is a popular activity, offering a glimpse into the traditional Sri Lankan lifestyle. You can participate in cooking, and a complimentary Sri Lankan lunch will be provided.
Minneriya National Park - This exciting activity offers a chance to see wild elephants in their natural habitat. We will arrange a 4WD jeep and a guide for the safari. Besides elephants, you may also see other animal species.
Dambulla Cave Temple - After the safari, we will head towards Kandy, stopping at the Dambulla cave temples en route. These are among the oldest Buddhist cave temples in the world with a rich history.
Tea Plantations and the Hill Country of Sri Lanka
Kandy Lake - After breakfast, we will check out from the hotel in Kandy and travel towards Nuwara Eliya, visiting a few places in Kandy and along the way.
Kandy lake, located in the middle of the city, is an iconic symbol of Kandy.
Kandy Market Hall - Located in the heart of Kandy town, this market is where locals shop for daily needs, offering insight into the lifestyle of ordinary Sri Lankans.
Natural Gems and Gemmological Museum - Gem mining is a major industry in Sri Lanka and a top export product. The gem museum visit will be educational, showcasing the gem mining process and the varieties of gems found in Sri Lanka.
Royal Botanical Gardens - A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings, this is one of the largest botanical gardens in South Asia, featuring a variety of trees, flowers, and plants.
Damro Labookellie Tea Centre and Tea Garden - Sri Lanka is synonymous with tea, known for producing some of the finest tea in the world. This visit includes tea plucking and processing, with a complimentary cup of fresh garden tea at the end.
Ramboda Waterfall - One of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful waterfalls, located near the main road from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. It’s worth spending some time here.
Nuwara Eliya - Known as the capital of Sri Lanka’s hill country, Nuwara Eliya is often called ‘Little England’ due to its cool climate and British-influenced architecture. We will check into the hotel, and the evening is free for you to relax or explore the city.
Scenic Train Journey and Beautiful Ella
Gregory Lake - The main activity of the day is the scenic train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella, departing at 12:30 pm. We will spend the morning sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya, including a visit to Gregory Lake Park, which offers activities like boat rides and horse rides.
Nuwara Eliya - A city tour of Nuwara Eliya, including visits to the market hall and Victoria Park.
Nanu Oya railway station - Our chauffeur will take you to Nanu Oya station to catch the 12:30 pm train. We will have reserved tickets, and the chauffeur will assist you in finding your seat. He will drive to Ella with your luggage and wait at the Ella station.
Ella - You will arrive at Ella station around 3:00 pm, where the chauffeur will pick you up for sightseeing in Ella.
Nine Arches Bridge - A key attraction in Ella, known for its unique design and beautiful surroundings, making it a popular spot for travelers.
Ravana Ella Falls - One of Sri Lanka’s longest and most beautiful waterfalls, located near the main road from Ella to Wellawaya. We will take this route to our next destination.
Bentota - From Ella, we will head straight to Bentota, a beautiful city on Sri Lanka’s southern coast. We will check into the hotel for the night.
Galle and the Beach Day
Galle - No trip to Sri Lanka is complete without some beach time. Galle is a stunning city and the capital of the southern coast. After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and head to Galle. The Galle fort, built by the Dutch, is an iconic location. We can decide when to leave for Galle based on your preference for relaxing at the Bentota beach hotel.
Madu Ganga Biodiversity Area - A boat safari on the Madu River offers a chance to see various animals and birds. The tour includes a visit to an island where you can learn about the cinnamon industry.
Turtle Hatchery Hikkaduwa - Here, you can see, feed, and spend time with turtles of various ages and sizes.
Colombo - After the activities in Galle and Bentota, we will head to Colombo. We can check into a hotel and do some sightseeing or shopping based on your preferences.
Gangaramaya (Vihara) Buddhist Temple - A beautiful Buddhist temple in the heart of Colombo.
One Galle Face - A newly opened shopping mall.
Odel - A fashion store.
Colombo City Centre - A mall offering shopping and entertainment options.

Pettah - The itinerary for the day can be arranged based on your departure flight time. It usually takes around 30 minutes to reach the airport from Colombo. Possible sightseeing and attractions in Colombo can be decided based on your preferences and departure time. Pettah is the main area for street shopping and general business, where locals shop for daily needs.
Galle Face Green - A relaxation spot near the beach and the new port city in Colombo.
Old Parliament Building - Built by the British during their rule in Sri Lanka, located near Galle Face Green.
Colombo National Museum - A great place for history enthusiasts.
Katunayake - The location of Colombo Airport. This marks the end of the tour. Our chauffeur will drop you at the airport in time for your departure flight or at your next hotel if your flight is on a different date.
