Great experience, not snobby, great owner/staff, restaurant worth doing. - Tour before tasting was informative and fun with smell 'tests'. Tasting was informative without being snobby(as I have experienced in the past) and not salesy (but enough to make you want to take some home so bring your cc). Ate in restaurant. Had mezze plate (understatement) which was lovely even my 78 year old mother ate snails and cavier. Owner and staff could not be more helpful.

Food and wine stop 🍷 during the visit of the Loire Valley - Indeed, our trip to France 🇨🇵 would not have been the same if we had not also treated ourselves to a food and wine experience to discover the excellence of the territory; for this very reason, after two intense days dedicated to the castles 🏰 of the Loire (especially Sully-sur-Loire, Chambord and Chenonceau) we opted for a taste experience 😋 at this winery. Arrived on site at 12.00 🕛 by Reservation 📱, we made the acquaintance of the kind manager 🧑🏻 who, in short, accompanied us to the entrance of the cellar / cave for the start of the guided tour. Absolutely suggestive this environment (very well-calibrated and well-lit 💡) that, by virtue of its characteristics, allows the most suitable storage of wine bottles. In addition to the very valid explanation of the person in charge 🧑🏻, offered in English 🇬🇧 for our group, along the way there are photo panels, projectors and specific stations that allow you to smell 👃🏻 different aromas that can then be found in wines; next to each cylinder for olfactory inspections 👃🏻 there is a door that hides the name of its aroma, so that the visitor can test himself trying to recognize it. The visit then continued through the other sectors of the cave where there are tools and agricultural tools, bottles 🍾 (divided by vintages, with some decades old), barrels and the space used for tastings. Here there was a good selection of wines (two red 🍷 and four white 🥂, if I remember correctly) accompanied by delicious goat/sheep cheeses and slices of chorizo. Useful map 🗺 wall that our Guide 🧑🏻 used to show us the main wine areas of the Loire Valley. Valid the quality / price ratio by virtue of the 18 euros 💶 total per person, paid in advance during Reservation 📱. Next to the checkout there is also a small shop that offers several interesting products, from cheeses 🧀 to salami passing through jams and, of course, wines (really a shame we could not try flavored goats / sheep but, clearly, it would have been a problem to keep them out of the fridge for days). Very stylish bathroom 🚾 with the sink in raw stone 🪨 and the soap 🧼 fixed directly to the wall through a special support (see attached photos 📸 📎). In front of the entrance there is a small parking area 🅿️ but there are not many places. Beautiful also the panoramic terrace, equipped with wooden benches 🪵, from which you can appreciate a magnificent view 👁 on the Loire. Visit undoubtedly RECOMMENDED 👍🏻.

Great way to start your French wine adventure - The guide was excellent! He did a great job explaining the French process of wine production. The tasting was well done and very informative. He taught us how to identify where the grapes came from. Overall well done.

Just amazing! Learnt so much! - Wow! I learnt so much from this tour vs other wine tours. We are so glad we took the time to do this. Loved how the wines were paired so the flavor would change based on the food sample we had. I've also never had it where you have 4 stands with 4 wine smells that you identify with your partner, was very eye opening. I also loved how he explained that how we taste wine is different for everyone based on so many factors.

Good local wine tour - interesting and informative tour. We both like wine but know nothing about the regions etc. The tour guide was exceptional and we now know a lot more but would never be able to store all the information given. we sampled 3 white wines and 2 red, and cheese and meat to compliment. Tours given in French and English.

Nice tour, great wines, beautiful “cave” experience - The tour was great, and the tour guide very welcoming. Tasting the wines before and after food or salami was eye-opening—I had no idea how much cheese can change the taste of wine 🤷♂️. Highly recommended!

Do the tour with Tomas - Tomas, our guide and teacher extraordinaire, was terrific. He was so knowledgeable that if I retain 5% of what he taught us, I’ll feel like a sommelier. He is a gem. Truly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it.
