Lest we forget. - Brigtite shared her passion and profound knowledge of the conflict in all the areas of the Somme battlefields that we visited. Jenny’s great uncle died of wounds as a very young man following previous injuries at Gallipoli and with her guidance and support we were able to visit his grave. As far as we are aware Jenny was the first family member to achieve this. Our tour was memorable and emotionally significant, Jenny and Martyn Baker

Highly recommend this tour - Brigette is a fabulous guide. She picked us up from our hotel in Amiens. As she is a local, she is very knowledgeable about the area, its history and the history of the battles. She was very helpful with researching soldiers information and tweaking the tour to suit our interests. This tour is great if you want to spend the day and pack in as many sites as possible. It would also be great if you intend to spend more time in the Somme as Brigette has tips about other places to visit and how to get there. We had a really enjoyable and educational day, 100% recommend.

A must to do in Fance - We had Brigette pick us up off the train at Amiens and we were the only ones for the day. She was brilliant and we would highly recommend her to others. Her attention to detail, her knowledge of events and kindness were remarkable. Above our expectations.

Brilliant Bridgitte-led Battlefield Private Tour - We were collected from our accommodation by the wonderful Bridgitte who, from the start, was the most thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable hostess and tour guide. She made our day so interesting with her many fascinating stories and insight into the battles and skirmishes of World War 1 in the Somme Valley. We were never rushed from one landmark to the next and amongst the historical tragedy there were plenty of laughs and light hearted chatting. Thank you Bridgitte for such a memorable, informative and inspiring day - you are a real superstar in your chosen occupation!

A personal perspective of the Somme. - Brigitte was an excellent guide-knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. The sites we visited were steeped in history, each having their own unique story, while still being intrinsically connected to each other. My grandfather fought on the Somme, & Brigitte tailored the day to fit with his personal story.
