- Tirta Gangga - Tirta Gangga literally means water from the Ganges and it is a site of some reverence for the Hindu Balinese. Strictly, the name refers to the water palace built in 1948 by the Raja of Karangasem, Anak Agung Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem. It is, however, the name widely used to refer to the general area which includes the water palace and the lush rural areas around. Tirta Gangga water palace is a maze of pools and fountains surrounded by a lush garden and stone carvings and statues. The one hectare complex was built in 1946 by the late King of Karangsem but was destroyed almost entirely by the eruption of nearby Mount Agung in 1963. It has been lovingly re-built and restored and has an air of authentic royal magnificence.\n\nThe centrepiece of the palace is an eleven tiered fountain and there are many beautiful carvings and statues adorning the gardens. The area around Tirta Gangga is noted for its rice paddy terraces.

Remarkable Family Trip. - Our family went to Gate of Heaven temple with Agung.
We went to Melasti beach, Uluwatu sunset and Kecak fire dance as well.
He is very helpful and accommodated our need.
Help to take photos and videos.
We do enjoy the trip and the costs are reasonable.
Definitely we will engage him again.

Tour in Ubud - We took the tour with Ketut Mudita, who organized everything in a very practical and efficient way, optimizing our time. We had a wonderful day, visiting Lepuyang temple, Tirta Gangga, Tegalalang rice terrace and beautiful landscapes.

Knowledgeable driver - Boli was our driver and he was punctual and very knowledgeable. We learnt so much about Balinese culture and history. The gates of heaven were beautiful and although they had a long wait to get photo Boli was patient. We loved the bat cave temple as well.

Gates of Heaven - My wife and I couldn’t stop smiling the entire tour. The gate of heaven is a transformative experience and having a private tour with an experienced guide (and great sense of humor) is the way to go. Prepare to take home some the most incredible photographs of your life. Your guide will take care of everything, just bring your camera (we used our phones), smiles and the phenomenal services of this tour provider will take care of the rest. When returning home, the most frequent question from our friends and family has been “omg, how did you get that picture!” Incredible, incredible, incredible!

Must go - This tour is a must go! The temple is incredible and Ketut was able to take us to other places during the waiting time at the queue! The lunch is at a beautiful place and the food is delicious!
