Jerash Ruins - Temple of Artemis: Begin your journey at the Temple of Artemis, dedicated to the goddess of the hunt, and marvel at its towering columns and intricate details.
Oval Plaza: Enter the heart of Jerash at the Oval Plaza, once a lively marketplace. Imagine chariot races and gladiatorial contests.
Cardo Maximus: Stroll along the ancient Cardo Maximus, the main north-south street of Jerash, lined with colonnades and shops. Feel the history beneath your feet.
Temple of Zeus: Ascend the steps to the grand Temple of Zeus, the largest sanctuary in Jerash, dedicated to the king of the gods. Be amazed by its grandeur.

Ajlun Castle (Qala’at ar-Rabad) - History and Significance:

Built in 1184 by Saladin’s nephew Izz ad-Din Usama, Ajloun Castle served as a strategic lookout to control the trade routes between Syria and Egypt.
Its impressive architecture features towering walls, fortified gates, and 13 hexagonal and round towers, showcasing both military might and architectural skill.
The castle witnessed various battles and occupations throughout the centuries, eventually being abandoned in the 19th century before undergoing restoration in the 20th century.
What to See and Do:

Explore the impressive castle grounds, walking along the defensive walls and climbing the towers for panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and hills.
Discover the castle’s inner workings, from the main gate and central courtyard to the water channels and cisterns that ensured its self-sufficiency.
Visit the small on-site museum to learn more about the castle’s history, architectural details, and archaeological finds.

Day 3: Amman Hotel, Mt Nebo, Madaba, Kerak, Petra

Madaba Mosaic Map - Created around 560 AD, the map is located on the floor of the Church of St. George in Madaba, Jordan.
It’s the oldest surviving original cartographic depiction of the Holy Land, offering a detailed view of the region from Egypt to Lebanon, including Jerusalem, the Jordan River, and the Dead Sea.
The map features not just geographical features but also biblical landmarks like cities, towns, and religious sites, making it a valuable resource for understanding early Christian beliefs and geography.
Intricate Detail: The map is crafted from millions of tiny colored tesserae, creating a rich and vivid picture of the region.
Unique Perspective: It offers a bird’s-eye view of the Holy Land, unlike traditional maps that depict landmasses from the side.
Historical Accuracy: Archaeological studies have shown that the map’s depiction of cities and landmarks is surprisingly accurate for its time.

Mount Nebo - Then drive to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died. You visit the old monastery and overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, Jericho, and Jerusalem.

Karak Castle - The castle was built by Pagan the Butler and Fulk, King of Jerusalem, between 1142 and 1148. It was later expanded and fortified by various rulers, including the Mamluks and Ottomans.
Karak Castle served as a key Crusader stronghold during the Crusades, controlling the trade routes between Syria and Egypt.
The castle withstood numerous sieges and attacks throughout its history, including a famous assault by Saladin in 1188.

Explore the castle’s impressive fortifications, including its massive walls, towers, and gates.
Visit the underground chambers and tunnels, where you can learn about the castle’s history and defense mechanisms.
Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding city and countryside from the top of the castle.
Take a guided tour to learn more about the castle’s history and architecture

Day 4: Petra, Wadi Rum

Petra - Early visit: Aim to arrive at the Petra Visitor Center before 8:00 AM to avoid crowds and enjoy the cool morning air. Purchase your ticket and grab a breakfast box if needed.
Siq Trek: Begin your journey through the Siq, a winding, narrow gorge that leads to the iconic Treasury. Savor the interplay of light and shadow, towering rock formations, and ancient inscriptions.
The Treasury: Prepare to be awestruck by the magnificent Treasury, carved into the rose-colored cliffs. Take photos, explore the nearby tombs, and learn about Nabataean architecture.
Street of Facades: Continue along the main path, lined with imposing tombs and temples carved into the sandstone cliffs. Explore some interesting ones like the Urn Tomb and the Silk Tomb.

Wadi Rum - Depart from Petra and journey to Wadi Rum, your desert oasis for the night

Day 5: Wadi Rum, Dead Sea, Baptism Site

Wadi Rum Protected Area - Visiting Wadi Rum, also known as the Valley of the Moon, is an experience like no other. Its vast expanses of red sand dunes, towering sandstone cliffs.
In the morning, by 4x4 Jeep tour (Optional), you discover canyons, sand dunes, and Nabatean rock inscriptions. Continue for 3.5 hrs to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea, and check-in at your hotel.

The Baptism Site Of Jesus Christ - The Baptism Site of Jesus Christ, also known as Bethany Beyond the Jordan or Al-Maghtas, is an archaeological World Heritage Site in Jordan. It is located on the east bank of the Jordan River, north of the Dead Sea, and is believed to be the place where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist.
The site has been venerated as a pilgrimage destination since at least the Byzantine period, and there are many ruins of churches and monasteries from that time. In recent years, archaeological excavations have uncovered even more evidence of early Christian activity at the site, including caves used by hermits and a baptismal pool.
The Baptism Site is open to the public and is a popular destination for both Christian pilgrims and tourists. There is a museum on site that tells the story of the baptism of Jesus, and there are also guided tours available.

freelance not owning any cars - to be honest Jordan is great and the sites is amazing but the service of this company is the worst this company using freelance drivers for the tours and don't own any cars at all then to get more than the half of the price traveler pay they split the tour each day we had a different driver so the driver will not stay with you and each driver and car is different they send us taxi, small car, med car with drivers sometimes speak english and sometimes don't speak any english at all
