King Abdullah Mosque - The blue-domed King Abdullah I Mosque, constructed in the 1980s by the late King Hussein as a tribute to his grandfather, welcomes non-Muslim visitors. The nave, covering 1,615 m2, can accommodate 3,000 worshippers. It is octagonal and notable for its lack of interior pillars. The dome, 35 meters in diameter and 31 meters high, features a radiant golden star surrounded by the Ninety-Nine Most Beautiful Names of Allah. The suspended chandelier, with 168 lanterns, displays a Quranic verse with “Allah” on each lantern. The fertile land is symbolized by a red carpet with ornamental patterns guiding worshippers toward the Kiblah. All walls, including the Kiblah, pulpit, and Mihrab, are adorned with wooden and marble panels.
