- Amman - Embark on a full-day journey to Wadi Rum, starting from Amman. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Amman and begin the drive towards the destination. Our English-speaking driver will take you along the Desert Highway to Wadi Rum. Depending on road conditions, the drive will take at least 3 hours, including one stop along the way.
- Wadi Rum Protected Area - This unique tour departs early morning from Amman via the Desert Highway. Here, we board our 4X4 safari, driven by a professional Bedouin driver (optional), and head to the visitor center in Wadi Rum. From there, we venture into Jordan’s legendary sandstone area of Wadi Rum. The mesmerizing Wadi Rum is an area almost surreal in its distinctive beauty.
Cross red sand dunes and explore the beautifully eroded sandstone rock pillars. Among the natural attractions are what have become known as ‘The Seven Pillars’.
This area of Wadi Rum greatly inspired T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). Wadi Rum’s beauty remains untouched, and its breathtaking scenery continues to inspire those who visit. Explore the famous spring at ‘Khaza’ali’ and the Hanging Arch.
We also drive along the rarely visited but equally stunning trails near the Saudi Arabian border.
- Wadi Rum - After the safari ride concludes, you will meet your driver at the same drop-off point, where you can experience climbing sand dunes and rock bridges, and camel riding at your own expense.
- Amman - Once the tour is completed, the driver will take you back to Amman city or Amman airport.

Great time in Wadi Rum - Spent the day with our tour guide Anas visiting Wadi Rum, it was amazing. Anas set up a 3 hour jeep tour and lunch at a Bedouin home, all of which was truly fantastic. It was a long day, 4 hours there and back, but worth every minute. Glad we decided to go and glad we got the guide we did. Thank you Anas, we will share your information with everyone who coming to Jordan.

Nice tour - It was a great tour that’s shown the history and the beauty of Alpatera , wadi rum . Really I enjoyed was a wonderful trip. The tour guide Anas is one of the best in my whole trips over the world. He’s good , respectful, educated, friendly.

Trip to Wadi Rum - Long trip but Anas made it great experience helping us to get the best of it. Very comfortable car with Wi-Fi onboard, regular stops for coffee and to taste some local food

The tour to Wadi Rum from... - The tour to Wadi Rum from Amman was the best part of an unforgettable trip to Jordan. Our driver Moe was very friendly and was an excellent road trip companion.
Wadi Rum turned out to be even more stunning than we expected. The rain actually enhanced our experience even more as the landscape looked even more gorgeous. Special thanks to our jeep tour guide Yahea for making the 4 hour visit to Wadi Rum so memorable.

Great day Trip! - We were picked up from our hotel in Petra in a nice car and driven to Wadi Rum. Our guide, Yuones, arranged for an SUV desert tour on the way and also helped us add a short trip to the Dead Sea. He stayed with us the whole day and was very helpful and friendly! Highly recommend.

This was a short tour but... - This was a short tour but was able to see enough of Wadi Rum. Our Bedouin guide drove us around in his jeep for about an hour then took us to visit his uncle, who lived in a traditional tent. My husband and I enjoyed sitting around a rock hearth right in the middle of this huge cozy tent drinking traditional sage tea. We then enjoyed listening to some amazing music and singing. This tour was perfect for my husband and I since we did not have a lot of time to spend in Wadi Rum. If you are looking for an adventure packed tour and want to see a lot of Wadi Rum, I would recommend that you book another one of Viator's Wadi Rum tours.

One day tour to Wadi Rum - I had a day tour from Amman to Wadi Rum. I had a full VIP service. I didn’t stay in the desert overnight but if you can, definitely do it! The tour was fun, and I got to see the amazing scenery, drink Bedouin tea made on a bonfire and take millions of pictures with the help of my tour guide. It’s one of those things you can’t miss if you are in Jordan! Everyone was very professional, punctual and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Wadi Rum from Amman - Mohammed our driver is an excellent one. He came 10 minutes before the time. Very courteous and professional.
Will recommend him to friends who are going to visit Amman Jordan soon

Great driver - What made the experience memorable was the driver Ayman. He made the whole trip super comfortable, was very kind and really great at guiding us to make sure that we get the best once in Wadi Rum. He was also kind enough to guide us to some if the best locla hospitality though that was not his responsibility. .. as we found out, this trip includes only the driver to and from Amman, but everything else, you have to pay on your own, even get another fricer once there to take you to the locations with a 4 by 4. Ayman was great at guiding us whom to chose as a driver and where to buy some great local food. So if you are ever in Amman, I highly recommend you reaching g out to Ayman and requesting him. A great driver, hospitable, kind, which made this experience memorable despite our initial disappointment with trip advisor, which is misleading.
