Your eye first sees the Treasury “Al-Khazneh.” The treasury is one of the most elegant remains of antiquity entirely carved deep into the rocks of one side of the mountain and concealed in a high-walled ellipse of a valley. Almost 40 meters high, it is intricately decorated with Corinthian capitals, friezes, and figures. You will also see other monuments such as the Altar of Sacrifice, the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and the Roman Theater.
• Wadi Rum Village - Next, head to Wadi Rum, the filming location of blockbuster movies such as Lawrence of Arabia and The Martian. Allow yourself to be transported into this other-worldly landscape.
