Explore Amritsar through the eyes of a native, taking in significant landmarks and hidden gems usually out of reach to non-locals. I’ll narrate the history and facts as stories, making them more enjoyable and easier to remember. Our journey begins with the Golden Temple, giving you backdoor access to the world’s biggest kitchen, then we will proceed to Jallianwala Bagh and the ancient markets, filled with sellers offering a vast array of products. After savouring an entire Punjabi meal, we will move on to the Wagah Border to watch the evening retreat ceremony.

Whistlestop tour of Amritsar - We had pre planned our stay in Amritsar with Planet Amritsar. Best decision. Lucky to have Amrit as our guide from airport pickup through to Wagah Border ceremony, street food and heritage walking tour to an extensive tour of the Golden Temple. We were particularly impressed with the way Amrit conveyed the sheer depth of knowledge about every aspect of our tour stops in Amritsar. Amritsar with great guide 👍 - Amrit (founder of this travel agency) was with us for our entire trip . There are no words of how beautiful the Golden Temple is and the work they do for their community but the way Amrit explained us the essence of Sikhism and the history of this pace made all the difference in our experience . We had many detailed discussions with him . He is very knowledgeable , witty , smart and made our entire stay very interesting . Besides the temple tour we had a farm visit and a food tour that gave us a real local feeling . Recommend him highly

Exceptional - This was a great tour and a must do if you have limited time in Amritsar. The extraordinary value that you get from this company and its guides is the historical, cultural and religious context of the city and Sikh religion, making the experience rich, memorable and highly educational. What I very much appreciate about the guides is that they genuinely care about your needs of the tour, and will adjust as needed to ensure you are fully satisfied. Really interesting and comprehensive tour. Amrit went way above and beyond during the tour and with matters that were nothing to do with his tour, during my time in Amritsar. He Was so willing and available to be a helping hand with anything we needed during our time in Amritsar.
Was an overall family highlight of our whole two week visit to India (the tour and meeting Amrit).

Unforgettable enjoyment - It was great enjoyment!
All parts of the day were perfect, whether the time spent in streets of Amritsar, in Golden Temple or our trip to the Punjab village.
Amrit is excellent guide, his knowledge is incredibly deep and above all he can explain everything well. Without his company, we wouldn't have had opportunity to visit so many interesting places.
I highly recommend to everyone!

A trip made memorable because of Amrit - Chanced on them when I made a trip to amritsar Nov 22. I know it took a while to write this review, but it just skipped my mind after my return to US.
From the time I was picked up by Amrit for my first tour to go inside golden temple, and then a food store in the streets of Amritsar all the tips and tricks to navigate my experience, and finally to top it all off a fantastic village tour with some authentic food and a tractor experience. These guys know how to take a cultural experience to the next level.
All along Amrit had tales and narratives on history of the religion, the state and the city. At the end of my tour I was dropped directly at the airport with my luggage, which was an amazing timesaver.
Overall any day I will recommend and I’m already planning to use them for my wife when she is there this November

Superior experience with our local guides Amrit & Karan touched by the tireless spirit & dedication of the community! - Loved the back door entrance to the langar kitchen also walking around the streets and sampling the yummy local cuisine
