A truly amazing serine experience seeing the Golden Temple with the most amazing and informative Tour Guide. - My husband and I had the most amazing experience with Ravish Mehra our tour guide. Ravish was so knowledgeable and so informative in describing not only facts about the Golden Temple but so much more about the Punjab. and Amritsar. He gave us so much of his time and informed us of safe eating places, showed us the Partition museum an absolute must in understanding the significances of the Partition in India and the impact of Independence. Ravish looked after us so well and we had the joy of seeing the Temple in daylight and also at night after the tour at the Border a truly magical experience. We learnt so much about India in the most amazing day. During the day we needed a snack and he took care in recommending a safe place to eat where we had an fantastic snack! We cannot recommend Ravish highly enough and will trust anyone will have the most amazing experience with him as he imparts so much knowledge and is so helpful with any requests. He advised us on the most amazing place to eat where we had a fabulous local meal. My husband and I felt we had made a true friend and look forward to showing him London if ever he visits. Please request Ravish if doing this tour an absolute must!

SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE ! - The entire surrounding area of Golden Temple Complex starting from its approaching roads is clean and tidy and the people visiting the Temple are well guided throughout its entry and exit. There are more than adequate facilities for keeping luggage, footwear, washing hands, etc.that there is no pushing or pulling of people at any place. The people are very much disciplined, pious, helpful, and understand the difficulties faced by children, senior citizens, and differently-abled persons. Though most of the instructions are written in Punjabi script the announcements are made in Hindi and as such, no problem is faced by nonPunjabi understanding people. The atmosphere is serene, quiet, religious, brotherhoodly, and totally of PEACE and BLISS.

Visit to holiest shrine of Sikh religion - Visit to Golden temple is such a stress relieving and peace giving that each devotee looks forward to come here again and again. Dip in Holy Sarovar relieves one of many ailments and the entire parikrama makes one feel in heaven. Darshan of holy book in Darbar Sahib amidst chanting of Burbank takes away all tensions from life. Must visit again.
